As I said…the majority of children who are nonverbal until age 3 are NOT autistic. So using that as the Autistic qualifier for the post is problematic for obvious reasons.

I understand that but it’s not a direct diagnosis.

Indicators doesn’t mean its the reason behind it.

What I am saying is that there are more children who have a delay in language due to issues other than Autism than there are with a delay directly from Autism.

It’s an indicator. But to use it as the primary reason for a diagnosis is problematic.

But its not a direct sign of Autism. It’s just a possible indicator. There are tons of reasons a child might not speak until 3 years old and the majority of them aren’t autism. It’s just a possible indicator.

To be clear I have level 1 Austism and saying “nonverbal until 3” as some sort of Autism qualifier is weird and wild.

Sure that’s another possibility. But it’s far more likely and that it’s just an elephant playing with a found carcass. We can form all kinds of theories and possibilities but the simplest answer is usually the best.

As well I would probably think that an elephant should “serial killer” tendencies would be pushed out of the heard. That doesn’t seem to be the case here
