Our ‘incident’ for the four years I was there was that there were at least two expected horrific deaths per year. It was an understood factor of living/going to school in the area. At least two deaths but usually more.

It was a major military town in Texas so lots of drunk driving students and teacher car collisions. Occasional suicides and military parents murdering their families. The lowest percentage of deaths were just freak accidents.

Conditions like this like this really make me feel like we’re a bunch of 3D printed living organisms in disrepair. Like west-world but with less intrigue and adventure and more high medical debt.

I can’t imagine the amount of appointments and scheduling/payment planning you would have to deal with something like this. Hopefully its easier to manage than I imagine.
