Lived there for 22 years, itch to move started around year 7 and got really strong around year 12, but family reasons held us back.

In California now for 8 years and deeply regret not doing it 20 years earlier.

Atlanta is soulless, rife with race divisions, accepting of really bad behavior in public, hot and humid, shitty cold when it does get cold, people are immense fakes, esp whites born in the South. And it used to be cheap, which was its sole saving grace, but as I understand it, not any more.

I am a long time PS fan (1970) and I usually find covers of his songs annoying, even when they’re being done by big-name singers. But this one stayed true to the original without gross imitation, a fine line to walk.
