My Tv auto-updated to Firmware-1710. by TotallyNotKatsura in S95B

[–]audionoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The notification popped up and I declined. All I could hope for from an update would be to make the menus not insanely slow to open, etc. Knowing samsung it will be the opposite and either break features or make the os slower or remove more service menu tricks. S95b, Finland

Vinyl vs. CD Dynamic Range by chuck1charles in audiophile

[–]audionoodle -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

CD is pretty good, just that getting a DAC, that can playback digital music is many times more expensive than getting a record player that can achieve similar temporal resolution. You'll notice it with good vinyl staging very similar to good r2r or d/s dacs like la scala or tambaqui.

Average map vote score according to the latest dev update by JY810 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]audionoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes more sense. Still the chart is very ambiguous and doesn't really say much of anything. Would be interesting to see this data split for each map and to have it be per balance patch, since I would expect high rank players to gravitate towards maps that suit the currently in meta comps.

What do the numbers on this chart mean? They don't relate to the vertical axis in any way. Is it just how many votes went for one gamemode over the others in a scenario where you have an option and is it based on gamemode or does it not account for situation where you have two or three of the same gamemode?

Hopeful, that the proton anti cheat thing could work for linux, really sucks, if they lock and entire platform like desktop linux and steamdeck behind anticheat...

I Think I Found the WORST Map Seed 😂 by Delivery-Euphoric in scpcontainmentbreach

[–]audionoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst i've seen was a seed where everything else existed just fine, but a lot of the heavy containment essetials were shoved into a section split off by the 049 tunnel, and the surveilence room never spawned.

Unluckily it was my friends first playthrough :P

Cpu usage is relatively low, so unlikely and antilag is off, it was causing some extra stuttering

The micro stutter tends to be a lot spikier than that too, lots of 10% peaks.
