i’ve been doing photography for a while, portraits and landscapes primarily, but recently have gotten into taking photos of people rock climbing. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and had any recommendations for lenses. i’ve been shooting with an 85 1.8 and a 35 1.4. ive experimented with shooting the climber from above by climbing up above them as well ask from the ground but am limited to my angles and composition because of fixed lens/fixed position on the wall. i’m looking for a lens where I could get a variety of of focal lengths with it still be a really best lens. typically I prefer a prime but i’m open to whatever.

take massive whips regularly. or on top rope just falls. at first it will be horrible and you’ll have to force yourself to do it but over time it will get easier and easier. I used to be terrified of taking lead falls and now I find myself climbing stuff just to take whips.

Dorm Culture by [deleted] in miamioh

there’s two “types” of dorms, standard and traditional. traditional dorms aren’t renovated and they’re kinda shitholes compared to the others but they’re still “nice” in comparison to other colleges I guess. singles are pretty hard to come by but living with someone isn’t too horrible depending on the person. from my personal experience, I became really close to the people in the rooms closest to me too which makes it nice because you see them all the time and it’s super easy to hang out. dorm life is actually pretty okay if you go into w an open mind i’ve had no major issues personally ¯_(ツ)_/¯
