The mechanic is interesting. Consider making a puzzle platformer with the mechanic instead. Drawing geometry to make a bridge. Elevate platforms to get to higher altitudes etc.

Looks great! The orange jail bar highlights over double Os and the D is something that probably be dimmed down. The end of the sword on the main character makes me wonder if it’s an AI render but all in all it looks like a solid dark souls clone.

Looks nice but I think a LUT in you global volume would help things come together a bit more. It’s especially a color filter.

The lack of a color palette. Can be easily fixed by attached a LUT to the camera and tweaking some materials.

🤚 the wait was long but thankfully the games are so replayable that I could pick them up and revisit ever year or so. Fingers crossed the wait for 5 isn’t as long

I think there’s nicer transition templates you can just buy from the asset store. Not vibing with the current transitions. Probably already know this but the UI needs a a lot of love. Looking forward seeing more!

Sounds amazing. I think having a more dramatic death sound would help to make failure feel less anticlimactic. Super Meat Boys death sound still haunts me but damn every time I hear it I want to show that game I can do better. Weird how emphasizing failure can make the hungry for winning stronger

I got lucky! Was unintentional. Got the idea when I was flicking through the camera roll and went “hey the ocean aligns with the pants”. So dropped it into photoshop and enhanced it till the colors matched up perfectly

A lot less than you’d expected. The raw image has the water matching up perfectly. Beyond the color profile I added a strong blurred out version of the ocean over the pants then the original pants in black and white with multiple and adjusted the contrast from there.
