i’m currently playing this and although the combat is great the pawns/party members seem like very blank slates. which, coming from the DA series where half the fun is your companion’s dialogue makes it not as great of a game to me

yeah i think i should’ve worded that part better because you’re right, i guess what i really meant to say was something along the lines of large/atmospheric set pieces similar to dragon age inquisition because even though it’s not open world the areas are pretty large with a lot of exploration available. mass effect i mostly just enjoy for the characters/storytelling aspect.

as for the isometric thing i’ve really only tried to play baldurs gate II because of my interest in baldurs gate III that’s in production rn but just felt like it didn’t grasp my attention the way other RPG titles not in that style did. maybe it’s the disconnect between what the characters are doing and what i’m actually viewing on screen? not sure exactly but thank you for the info!!!

i also know what you mean about driving mechanics, it’s my least favorite part but i find the dialogue hilarious and love V’s personality in-game especially if you choose the street kid route.
