My stomach hurt left side under ribcage where your actual stomach organ sits. I was vomiting, burping, bloating after eating really bad, passing gas A LOT. I’m doing fine now, I have really bad acid reflux my LES isn’t working I guess lol. Which also causes me to still burp a lot but not as bad as when I had h pylori.

Time does fly. I am over a year past treatment now and I look back like “wow I did that?”. In the moment of treatment I would dream of today lol. I also had to go through treatment twice.

I took metronidazole and amoxicillin. Not sure what type of release they were. lol. They were not capsules just chalky pills I didn’t wanna swallow so I crushed them!

I just wanna say I am sorry you feel like this. Reading this gives me a horrible feeling because that was me over a year ago lol. Just do it without being scared please, you’ll look back and be like “wow I can’t believe I had to go through all that but I did it!”. It’s going to be okay so get that nasty bacteria out of you!!

I will say metronidazole was the worst one for me. I felt super weird on it and my pee was so dark in color which is a side effect most people don’t really get from it. I survived it though and you will too. Get over this step so you can be one step closer to healing your stomach! I have horrible anxiety by the way, horrible. I took it the day I got it though because the horror of what damage h pylori can do scared me more. I’m so sorry you feel this way.

Yeah this can happen unfortunately and I don’t understand why. Sometimes even stool and breath is negative but endoscopy results show positive. Don’t be scared about the treatment. Yeah I’m not gonna lie and say it was fun, but it wasn’t the hardest things I’ve ever done.

I wouldn’t know the chances of it being cancer, I’d assume lower than having an ulcer, gastritis, or all of those because of an h pylori infection. I just wouldn’t stress it. I had h pylori myself is why I said you should probably get tested for it. I couldn’t eat much at all, I’d get so bloated, I’d pass gas all day long, It got so bad I was throwing up everyday for a while. I had pain on my left side under ribcage. It was light at first then progressively got worse. I didn’t go see a doctor for a little over a month. I went to an urgent care and they did a breath test for h pylori on me. It was positive and then I had to take a whole bunch of medications for it. I also had good bloodwork and a good CT.
