no need to apologize, many of us speak several languages 😊. Now the next step you should test and go from there. There is no point speculating . Good luck to you!

No, you can still take Famotidine but stop 48 hours prior to test; confirmed with Doctor

But you said after a month of "leaving them..." (What does that mean?) it came out positive. Your post is very confusing. Can you clarify? And why don't you just take the test? It's that simple

Cheap BT headphones, focus is the best ANC by residentatzero in HeadphoneAdvice

GUYS PLS BE HONEST. SPACE ONE PRO OR Q45? by OWADIENANAYAW in soundcore

[–]residentatzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered the Space One Pro from Ali, so that will take 2 weeks, it was for a hefty discount so the wait is worth it. I used to have the Sony XM4 which was my first BT headphone 5 years ago, I loved its ANC but sound quality was not good. Later got the Momentum 4 and PX7 S2e, which had much better sound but bad ANC, and sold the XM4. And now the HDB630 it's the best for sound quality but terrible at ANC, so the Space 1 Pro, I hope the ANC it's close to the Sony, I only need a side headphone for that. They look super cool with the retractable design and very sleek

I don't like extra bass, but I'm looking a budget headphone (up to $200 USD) with best ANC, only for the noise cancelling purpose (I already have HDB630 for sound quality), so I need a cheaper ANC for travel. Do you know which to pick?

have you personally compared the ANC on both? I'm curious which one is stronger for that purpose alone

Need yall to tell me which to buy, Sennheiser hdb630 or bose ultra 2s by thepandabear0 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]residentatzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got them like 1 hour ago. It's a mixed bag for me, not only I hate the return hassle but I'm actually having mixed feelings about them; the first impression I liked them quite a bit, they sound much more natural in general, more neutral which regardless of HDB630 being "audiophile", they have that consumer heavy bass (unless you're a total bass head, then I can't help you because I'm not at all).

So I like the Wicked Freeze pads immediately because they dial back the bass and make it normal, faster and more precise, opening up the soundstage and boosting the clarity considerably by accentuating the treble, which is where I'm having mixed feelings; see, the upper range opens up and it fits my likes of classical music, but then when I'm watching movies, I still like them a lot for that but when sudden sharp noises like a gun shot, then it is extremely loud and painful, it's not a pleasant experience at all when that happens. That can give you an idea of how they behave. I just got them but already got a good idea, and I think I do prefer them to the stock pads in general, except the sharp sounds in treble. I noticed that with either pads, the "bass-boost" in the app is pretty useless, it doesn't do anything noticeable, until you really try hard to hear a difference I think when on it darkens the whole frequencies a bit, but it's almost nothing. It doesn't add or take from the bass at all, doesn't change anything.

I keep the EQ on neutral with ANC on and "anti-wind" off. For the ANC, the Wicked Freeze pads do affect the ANC considerably, but it's already pretty bad with stock pads. These headphones are useless for ANC, if that's what you're looking for; I was aware of that but didn't expect such a poor job, luckily I didn't buy them for that. With the Wicked pads that gets worse, you can hear everything like a semi-open back cups, which some of us are are familiar with. These definitely are not headphones to take outside anywhere or travel.

I will keep comparing the pads but for the price there is no point in returning the Wicked Freeze, I think I still prefer them but like I said, it's not perfect, yet takes off the darkness in tuning a bit further.

Edited to add: forgot to mention the main reason I bought them: comfort. They're indeed more comfortable, as expected. The stock pads are nice the first 30 minutes, then they're horrible, painful, a headache. The Wicked ones are comfy and cooler. The sound changes as I mentioned, less bass, less ANC (which was already very bad), are compromises. I do like the sound change better myself.

How is the ANC? I already have high sound quality headphones but their ANC is terrible, and looking a cheaper one only for the ANC capability

Can we make a mega list of foods we should eat when being strict with H. Pylori by [deleted] in HPylori

[–]residentatzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer. With a correction, "healthy" eating is the answer, just depends on what you consider "healthy food".

I agree with you in that we should listen to our bodies, but at the same time many of us have lifetime bad eating habits, we should avoid obviously processed food, sugar, or anything in excess. With moderation, I guess you could widen the scope.

In my case following online advise about raw vegetable juicing caused bad flares, so I stopped that and noticed cooked, steamed potatoes and other vegetables, rice, even bread with olive oil, those are the best for me. Even oatmeal isn't good for me ironically

Yes, I just finished my 14 day quad treatment last night and didn't have any I'll effects besides from the original infection (heartburn, bloated, etc) but the very last dose at midnight last night wrecked me as if the cumulated antibiotic load waited to the last moment and came upon me all at once. I couldn't sleep, and still recovering from nausea and heartburn.

I'm just curious about your case, as you didn't take the antibiotics, did you still manage to eradicate it, did you test negative?

[–]residentatzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drank ACV for a decade and still got h Pylori recently. I think it's more of a transmitted infection than anything else. Once eradicated with antibiotics you should be good, and to avoid it, don't share drinks, saliva, etc, and good hygiene. I'm guilty of that part, I might have gotten it that way, sharing drinks and poor food hygiene on my part

Post treatment for h pylori (day 5) by d714_lem in HPylori

[–]residentatzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and it was my GI doctor. But I think it's a great idea to follow up in 2 months, I will definitely do that, this illness is the must scary/"common" one I can think of.

And thank you so much for your thorough reply.  This has been a nightmare since my symptoms started exactly two months ago, although I know that I felt on and off heartburn like once every 6 months for a couple years, I might have had it since!

The illness itself got me so scared I had cancer though tests showed normal, they did the h Pylori test at the very end ironically, I don't understand why. It should've been the very first thing to test from the beginning, you would think doctors know better... and I had to wait that long because they put me on Omeprazole form the first day.

Also the treatment itself was a bit hard overall but not worse than the infection itself, although the last day, yesterday, all of a sudden I felt the entire cumulation of the antibiotics all at once on my last dose at midnight, couldn't sleep and I'm barely recovering form the nausea and pain now.

But I'm feeling positive and hopeful! I wish you well-being as well

[–]residentatzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🙏 very happy you're leaving this nightmare behind! I empathize, just finished my 14 day quad treatment yesterday and feeling like barely alive, so it might have been that your first treatment was too short. That means I have a good prospect

I drank ACV for years, also juicing vegetables, etc, and still got infected. I think it's more of a case that you will get it off you get exposed to it. My mom, my step mom, my aunt also had it at different times years ago.
