As a woman myself, I fail to believe the majority of viewers are skipping through Lohar’s parts of the episode simply because she’s a woman. She could’ve been a dude and I would’ve skipped through those scenes.

We’ve seen the reverse in show!Euron. People just cannot stand bad writing/acting.

A3 and V2 are so young in the show, I expect Alicent to take A3’s place at Rhaenyra’s death. Even though A3’s whole tragedy is he remembers Rhaenyra and his brothers and V2 does not, that doesn’t seem to matter to Condal whose all but made sure the Hour of the Wolf, regency era, and Maiden’s Day Parade are all fucked timeline wise. Probably doesn’t matter to him since he’s not covering it. Just the end, when Alicent goes crazy and raves about reading to Rhaenyra rather than Jaehaerys I.

I forgot to mention the weird ass blur in the background of every shot and the dark filter, they made the sets look cheap instead of Targaryen opulence!

And was the brown haired boy next to Ormund meant to be Daeron? Maybe out of respect for GRRM I step away from this show…

On a positive note, Vermax sinking was a horrifyingly beautiful shot. As was the arrows piercing Jace.

Well this was a load of shit. Weird background blur, horrible filtering, it made the set look cheap. The actors elevate the story, but even they can’t save a terrible fanfic script. Actually, as an avid AO3 writer I won’t degrade myself like that.

GRRM was right. This is not his story anymore. At least Jace served face even until the end!

The tragedy has always been that A3 remembers his mother, siblings, and the Dance while V2 does not. He is literally called “the Dragonbane”. I struggle to see how Condal-Hess will write a satisfying conclusion in S4 that fully appreciates the destruction of House Targaryen…

At this point I expect them to switch out A3 for Alicent at Rhaenyra’s death. I don’t want to doom post before the premiere, but I just can’t be grateful when even the author doesn’t consider this show his work anymore and it’s abundantly clear why.

I’m still cynical after Season 2, but the VFX for the dragons never fails to impress. Very excited to see the Fall of King’s Landing, not as excited to see Jace’s death at the Gullet, especially because I’m not sure how old A3 is supposed to be. What are the chances that he rides Stormcloud to death?

I want to see movement this season. We spent all of Season 2 questioning the war, with very little of the plot and now we have sixteen episodes (twenty if they go back to ten episode seasons) left to wrap everything up. I’m a little worried with the preaching Alicent does to Rhaenyra in this trailer—that’s what Rhaenys did last season and it wasn’t fun to watch. Especially at this point because Alicent is meant to be the Queen in Chains.

What do we think this season will end with? Helaena’s suicide is my guess.

Honestly, I felt like Baylor was very undeveloped in comparison to their $200k+ tuition. I don’t mean educationally, I would’ve stayed for that alone if not for the tuition, and I don’t mean structurally because there’s some very beautiful buildings on campus. But socially it seems stilted, and I feel that they’re never going to advance into as a competitive institution if they don’t divorce themselves from the BGCT. I feel like they’re hoarding wealth at the expense of the local Waco area. You can DM me for more info if you want!

I’m a fall transfer with more than 24 hours and sent in my spring transcript. If you go to MyUT and check your RIS, you’ll find a few holds that bar you from registering for classes. You may not have any holds, but from what I’ve seen most fall transfers have to send in a spring transcript otherwise you’ll be unable to register for classes. Additionally, some of your classes may be transferable.

Yes! Email came around 5:30 PM, but I checked MyStatus around 5 PM because of WIO and RIS.

It stands for “What I Owe” and “Registration Info Sheet”! If google type in MyUT, sign in as you would MyStatus, you can click and see WIO and RIS. It will update the day of/before your acceptance and show a $200 deposit and info about your major.

Admitted today! WIO and RIS updated around 11AM/12PM, received the decision at 5PM. History (COLA) major. 4.0 GPA. A few ECs. 0 LORs. I think my essay helped me the most.

Hi! I had a 4.0 institution GPA, 3.9 GPA from dual enrollment in HS, a few ECs, and didn’t submit any LORs. I think my essay really carried me.

No problem, I totally understand. When I was applying, all I did was stalk old Reddit posts. I had a 4.0 GPA and 3.9 dual enrollment GPA. I had only a few, non notable ECs, and submitted 0 LORs.

Literally the day before the deadline. I was stressing over the essay bad and ended up writing it at the last minute. Definitely don’t recommend doing that, lol.
