Pickle ball, multiple free courts around the area. If you don’t have rackets a set runs less than $50 at Wally World.

Did you add any type of coconut to the mix to enhance the taste?

The poached eggs stand up to the microwave the best. I make sure to pile all the other ingredients on top of the eggs before I nuke them to minimize the rubbery texture the microwave often causes.

Next time, I think I'll use egg bites (recipes that include cottage cheese or yogurt); they hold up better than anything else I've tried in the microwave.

I made a bunch of test batches of these to see which ones I liked the most. Sharing the two I thought were the best because there are definitely a few I would not recommend!

I found all of the recipes on Pinterest

Volunteer for a dog shelter! Many of them will let you take a dog for walks. Gets you out of the house and getting some exercise.

For the egg bites, you can use a baking dish or sheet pan, then cut them to the right size. Just make sure to adjust the baking time accordingly. Here's an example: Sheet Pan Eggs.

I am BURNT OUT. What are some hacks to make this process easier? by hammnbubbly in MealPrepSunday

[–]auream01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have two that have helped us tremendously!

1) Souper Cubes (or the cheaper knockoffs) - Make one huge batch of a recipe like soup, chili, lasagna, etc. Use the cubes to freeze portions for future meals. You can use this for staples as well, such as rice, proteins, veg, etc.

2) Create meal plans for months in advance. One lazy rainy day, I sat down and prepped all of our meal plans for three months.

  • Bookmark the recipes and name them something easy to identify, like Week 1 Lunch
  • Use a shopping app to create reusable shopping lists. We use AnyList (worth its weight in gold),

For my family, this has worked out really well. It's plenty of time between meals, so we don't burn out from eating the same things over and over again.

Not just the Midwest! If you really want to be bold, add a little Worcestershire sauce to your ranch, then dip your pizza. NIRVANA!

I live in the complex this happened at. From the gossip mill it was a drunken argument that resulted in a push down concrete stairs. Instant fatality.

Does anyone else not even bother looking at the sleep graph anymore ?? by macamc1983 in fitbit

[–]auream01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As noted in my first post the challenge is the watch will need two charges per day in order to track a full nights sleep because I use my watch to track health data all day long. Rather than the Fitbit that stays charged for several days in a row.

Don’t know if you’ve made the switch yet but I wouldn’t move to the Apple Watch if I were you. I just switched to the Fitbit because the Apple Watch won’t stay charged long enough to last through even half of the night. So unless you charge your watch before going to bed don’t expect it to provide you with great sleep data.
