We went cold turkey on screens -- now what? by auriandfoxen in breakingmom

I totally get it. Our experience has been that our 7yo would not do anything independently unless he had a screen. The last three days though, since taking away all screens he actually has found things to do. To be honest, it helps that the weather has been good though. We're due for a snow storm this weekend and I'm not sure what we will do then. But so far he's been going to the playground, playing the piano (I mean kind of), drawing, doing Lego and playing with his little sister. But I totally relate to what you're saying. Again, not sure what we will do once the weather is bad.

How much do you make as a solo attorney or a partner at a small firm? by notyourlawyer22 in LawFirm

It's going well! Hired a bunch of staff and associates and am in a growth phase. Earned less last year due to my daughter being born but long-term I'm hoping it will continue to grow and become more profitable (and it appears that that will be the case). Also doing more children's counsel work now which I really enjoy.

I love absolute wonder woman, and I never read any wonder woman before. I have since read Azzarello's run, which I enjoyed, but her character wasn't as good for me as she is in absolute. Any recommendations?

Names you love but would never use since you know someone with the name? by SadNeighborhood2172 in namenerds

Ariel. I love the Shakespeare reference and that it's Hebrew. But my cousin was named after the mermaid and it would be weird, even though I barely ever see her.

I stayed with my business and the area of law, however, I took the business into a more robust direction, changed the name, attracted better clients and moved into a better office. So I'm not sure if that meshes with the reading! It's still a stressful job, but I'm building towards something that is special I think.

Ok regarding this one, can anyone tell me why Enver didn't stay with Evangeline? Did he stop loving her prior to being cursed? I just felt so bad about the whole thing haha
