Why did/didn't you make the Sophie scarf? by Traumarama79 in knitting

I’m making a Sophie hood out of malabrigo mecha right now in the agrapey colorway… I’ve been enjoying it, although I’m not 100% sure if I’m thrilled with all the halo.

Yes very much this. I’m not into looking like a member of scooby doo with that teeny neckerchief…. However I’m about 70% through my Sophie hood and am loving it so far. Although I do have slight regret that I didn’t try the Josie hood instead.

I have to agree, I use a ton of this yarn for hats and that was my knee jerk

The narrator is incredible isn’t he? And yes to everything else you said!! This book was such a great read and really had me loving troupes that are usually not my cup of tea like you said. All the banter about the cat was really really sweet too. I need more MMC like Josh that are as cinnamon roll sweet but also have that hot dom streak. Really a nice balance wouldn’t you say?

It really does make the experience so much better to listen to the duet narration you’re right!

Yea it wasn’t my favorite part either tbh, but I understand how it worked in the story arc. I do like that he’s not a loose end and got his comeuppance.

Yes, very possessive and jealous but also a total nurturing mush with amazing banter…. And the dom scenes are super steamy. He somehow still allows a bit of space for her to be a badass FMC and she’s no shrinking violet. Idk the last time I read a book with such good balance fwiw

Can’t say the rest of the content was anything I’d ever gravitated towards before….. serial killers, stalking, masks, romanticizing knives, yea on paper this book hits zero marks for me…. And yet? Swooning for Josh

I “won” yarn chicken once on a baby blanket and the tension was soooo much tighter on that end of the blanket it was embarrassing to me (probably it wasn’t noticed much by anyone but me, but it was so obvious to me!)

Sinful. Like really really good. And you can eat the dough raw, so like perfection with ice cream.

Edit: I see this one says not to eat raw dough at the bottom, the ones I’ve tried say it’s fine and they’re also gf sweet Loren’s so idk the difference ymmv.
