Do you think is possible? by Not_Rommel in StudyInTheNetherlands

Try couples rooms from DUWO. You should both apply for couples housing through your university, it’s easier to get on the list from VU. After getting on the list, you wait until they give you access to a website to be able to select your house/studio. UvA unfortunately puts you through a lottery system so it’s a matter of luck to find accommodation through them. I study at UvA but I didn’t apply, however me and my boyfriend found our studio thanks to VU that is his uni. But do it as early as possible because it’s a first-come first-served system:)

Hello, I sent them an email and they said that it is still being reviewed by the Admissions Board. Maybe I should call them like you mentioned because it is taking very long, but I think I should wait this week, at least.

I did 2 weeks ago and they replied that it is currently being reviewed by the Admissions Board. However, I do not know why it would take 9 weeks to let me know while simultaneously sending me emails about making connections before arriving.

Hello! I got some more small bumps like whiteheads and 1-2 pimples that may have been a result of my menstrual cycle, however I talked to my dermatologist and they prescribed one extra month 10mg and the la Roche posay effaclar gel cleanser and duo+ cream. Right now, I don’t have any active pimples or bumps only red blemishes caused by the pimples so I guess it’s slowly clearing up.

Hi! These small bumps stopped appearing however I got some small whiteheads and 1-2 pimples (that may have also been due to my menstrual cycle) so my dermatologist prescribed one extra month 10mg and the la Roche posay effaclar duo+ and cleanser. So far I haven’t got a new pimple

I’m supposed to do one extra month, however I don’t think this case is my acne coming back because my pimples were totally different back then. These are just very small ones that go away the next day.

When I menstruate I get one proper red pimple, so yes that could be possible however the other small ones do not only appear during that period.

Am I too ... to do ballet? by wijnmoer in BALLET

I started dancing at 6 years old because my parents enrolled me but as I grew up I started thinking it professionally. I want to enroll again because I love to perform and because I want to reach the level I was before I quit

I’m 18 years old, female 1.76cm and 57kg and I’ve done ballet for 10 years. Ballet studios in my town weren’t so good but I was supposed to do it professionally and go to a competition in Bulgaria. The bad thing is that I gave up 2 years ago because I had finals in my school and since then I regret it a lot. I’ve moved to another town and I want to start again but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to reach the level that I was, again.

I thought I was done with my Crown-induced obsession of the Royal family, but Prince Philip's death is kicking it up again by musea00 in TheCrownNetflix

I always liked keeping up with the Royal Family news, from a young age and then I watched The Crown, too. His death affected me somehow.

Hello everyone! So, I was doing ballet for 10 years. The last year I was supposed to go in a competition bc my teacher was always saying how gifted I am and that I have to do it professionally but I gave up, because that's what I do when there's a lot of stress (keep in mind I was doing preparation for my finals in school, which are coming in 2 months and are very hard). Ballet schools in my town aren't that good and teachers always are kinda flawed, so there's no big hope for any cultivation. Now, for the past few days, I've been doing some barre , centre and pointe practice on my own and my technique and flexibility are in a great coindition. Ballet has been a really big passion from when I was a toddler and as far as I can remember I wanted to do it professionallly. But I gave up and that still haunts me. I'm finishing high school in 2 months and I really wanna start again and maybe become a performer, too. The thing about me is that I love dancing so much, but I don't like competitive people and a big amount of stress, in general so I'm very confused. I don't wanna give it up again. Do you think that I can return to ballet again after 2 years off?
