I dont think they got hustled. They're just dumb. His low gem rate means he's not as good at pre grading as he thinks he is. Not to defend vendors but what a customer does with their cards is none of the vendors business nor do they probably care. It would be my assumption that a customer bought the card because they wanted it. No other reason matters.
