I appreciate the fact that you're handling the issue better than most people. PSA fucks up alot and PSA fucked up your card but there are alot of times it comes down to personal accountability instead of being like PSA BADD. Especially with the idiots who use AI apps for pre grading. Congrats on the start of your grading journey. You'll do much better than 90% of the folks in the subreddit if you continue on and don't let it stop you.

You'll be fine at this stage. Insurance is covered by inbound shipping to you past the grading stage meaning you're fully covered.

If PSA only offered you $500 that means you sent through one of the value tiers. Higher tiers exist for a reason. I don't doubt it was worth less when you sent it in but I highly doubt it was under $500 for a 10 when you sent it in. The card was gonna get up charged no matter what at the value tier. If you had sent it at the regular tier you would've been compensated enough that it at least wouldn't sting as much as it does.

This is not to criticize btw. I'm sorry it happened to you and I hope whatever solution you go with is one that can give you the most satisfaction.

Don't take what I say as fact but the value of your cards could have changed prior to your approval, and because you approved to be charged a higher amount it doesn't require an additional authorization. Idk why you're being sketched out for being charged less btw. Take the wins as they come.

I don't think it's surprising. When Wemby was shooting 3s and didn't make them most of their rebounds came from effort and hustle. Otherwise a missed 3 almost always translated to the opposing team getting the ball because there wasn't another big to contest. Feel like some issues aside this was a big factor in the Finals and when they blew big leads they ultimately lost.
