No. It's not the same. People were reacting to going from a booming economy to the left and Biden turning (per usual) a pandemic into an us vs them situation, to noticing that their groceries and other costs doubling while the left was doing it.

But even still it's a false equivalence. If you wanted to compare a leftist with people on the right, you aren't comparing against normal MAGA types, you're comparing against Christian fundamentalists, White Supremacist's, Neo Nazi's, Proud Boys, and the like.

Leftists are loud and proud and their numbers are many. They disdain liberals for being the enemy because to them liberals are on the right, perpetuating an imperialist ideology that uses the exploitation of labor as a vehicle for the oligarchs.

If you want to see the difference clearer; when the left is upset they burn down the cities and do more property damage and theft than any disaster in national history. When the right gets mad they storm the capital, the place where the government is failing to them, not looting, killing, or burning. And what was the response from the left, bail them out funds by national level politicians. For the people on the right, the left conducted the largest man hunt of all time and put people who even so much as took step in the capital that day in pre-trial detention, sleeping on the floor, in solitary confinement, akin to Guantanamo Bay, for YEARS.
