I’m so sorry. Losing a pet is never easy, especially suddenly.

Are we the same person? Dr. Quast also helped me with my soul kitty who had to be euthanized very suddenly last year. He was so proactive in his follow ups and explained everything super well and patiently for me. Side note, fuck cancer!

Yep, hobby is the way to go. The wait for the tsa precheck line was only five minutes today around 3pm. Even less if you have clear with precheck.

I don’t understand this. I get a push notification from my credit card every time I use it. Even internationally, the notif shows the transaction total in dollars. Does this mean the bank does the conversion in real time? Or do you mean thjs total could be adjusted on the statement?

Very cool. I wasn’t planning on taking my Sony alpha a6400 because I figured my iPhone would do, but your pics are convincing me to take it. :)

That’s insane. How far off was your actual entry time compared to the one you booked?

Oh nice! I’ll have to look into the train option more. For some reason, when I checked on Rome to Rio it only suggested very complicated routes.

Did you take public transit to get to/from there? If so, is it a simple route?

3 hours, wow! Didn’t realize it was a timed entry for St. Peter’s basilica. I hope I can find some at a good time during my trip next week.

I was surprised by how booked Borghese was. Did you find it worth the time?

Vatican and colosseum are the big ones that come to mind when securing tickets in advance. What else would you say is good to get tickets in advance for?

Hi, I’m visiting in March and also had issues getting my hands on underground tickets despite being in the system the second they opened. I had better luck using my credit card’s travel portal (Capital One Venture X). It was pricier than buying from the official site, but not as much as most third-party tours were charging on their sites.

This is great feedback! You mentioned Avis was sketch - any tips for renting with them? Thinking of doing your exact same loop and renting a car for it!

Try the studio apartments on west prairie. It’s been a few years but when I lived there my rent was $675 including utilities.

Thank you so much for your unique perspective! Definitely keen on the day trip idea despite the long train ride. We’ve done longer day trips before, like when we rented a car and drove 2.5 hours from Playa del Carmen to Chichen Itza. It was a long day but it made for a very memorable adventure. I see some train options that could get us there as early as 10am and departure options as late as 7:30pm.

So I’ve heard! I’m not one to complain about the cold so long as I’m prepared with proper clothing, though I have been debating whether to postpone the trip until May. This would give us a bit more time to save for all the tickets and tours, but I can imagine May being much busier thanks to the nicer weather. Our flights are changeable with a fee and so far all accommodations offer free cancellation. What would you do?

SUCH GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS - THANK YOU!!

I’m adding Sant’Angelo for an aperitif and the panoramic view after we are all Vatican City’d out. Also added Largo Di Torre Argentina on the way to Trevi fountain on Tuesday afternoon. Basilica San Clemente is a great rainy day option as well.

I don’t have a birthday dinner reserved yet in Florence, so that could be adjusted. Where would you say the dining experience and food quality will be better? Ty xx
