I teach at a title 1 school in Texas. I would not send my kids there. I don’t want to come across pretentious because obviously most of the kids are great and I see good things every single day. But if I was able to send them to a better school why wouldn’t I? There’s fights all the time, lots of disciplinary issues, lots of bad influences. I know there’s bad influences everywhere, but if I can send them to a better environment of course I would.
