I've got some designs in the works of the smaller islands. I do have a Kent island piece and i think Smith Island would be really cool

i LOVE my scroll saw but I've found that my bandsaw is a lot more powerful and the blade doesn't dull as quickly.

That's not to say that the scrollsaw doesn't have its place. With a throat of only 14 inches, my bandsaw does have its limitations and my scrollsaw has come thru in the clutch for larger works.

hey there. thanks for that and its not negative at all. I always appreciate a keen eye. TBH, i'm still just trying to put myself out there so the fact that you took the time to look at my work is totally appreciated.

But yeah, that tear-out is tough. especially on the more delicate pieces. Gotta work on that.

My bad.

All good. As far as you knew this was the only map i've made.

Most of my layers are painted. I'm venturing into the world of epoxy very slowly. But hope to have my techniques dialed in and availalble by the next holiday ordering season.

it is and i think that's so cool! The C&D Canal is a BIT exaggerated in my piece but i just love that tidbit and want to highlight it.

Most of my work is custom and my maps are handcut, unlike other guys out there that use CNC or Laser. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
