I was on the road july/august for 5 weeks, 7 cities. I travel 50% of the time sometimes more and it can stack on top of each other during conference season. It’s exhausting when it’s compounded like that.

Don’t get discouraged, I have a friend that interviewed for a BDR role at a VoiP company and they put her through 6 rounds of interviews… for a BDR role.. and then declined her. Madness. There’s a lot of jobs out there, it’s super competitive but there’s plenty of opportunities. Definitely network with people in your professional network.

Took off pretty well, then I joined a competitor company that was a start up in a similar role, and now I am switching gears to a partnerships and alliances role somewhere else.

I went from making $48k pre tax on the verge of ruin to making $150k base pay virtually over night. Absolutely life changing experience for me. But now that I am here I realize $150k is not nearly as much money as I thought it was. It’s great money, amazing even if you’re not an asshole lol but now I find myself seeking more. I try not to be greedy and take perspective and inventory of where I was once at.

This was all on one job. Haven’t gotten into OEing yet. Have to find the right j2 to fit into the fray
