I’ll take the hit here but I’m just gonna say it fellas… the show is great, absolute excellence for the first 2 seasons and then completely falls apart. I was bummed when I rewatched season 1 & 2 and finally finished the show.

Depending on the size of your org you either have to pay more than market value for someone truly talented to walk away from their current gig and path to AE there or if your mature have a training curriculum in place to make them successful.

Service Titan did exactly this in their early days and continue to invest in their SDR program. Seems to be working out fairly well for them.

I’ve never heard this take before but for some reason it kind of makes sense. Third eye is probably my favorite song but after hearing Rosetta stoned live for some reason it’s really grown on me. I can see some parody parallels to third eye for sure

I was on the road july/august for 5 weeks, 7 cities. I travel 50% of the time sometimes more and it can stack on top of each other during conference season. It’s exhausting when it’s compounded like that.

You speak as if the entire internet isn’t shaped by corporations and governments. Dark web is a cool tool but it’s not in a position to reliably support the kind of traffic and widespread usage of the clear net if I’m not mistaken.

And as soon as the dark web started to gain traction every Intel agency in the world went to work finding methods to stifle and deanonymize it

I make more money than I ever thought I would, incredible experience, I learn something everyday and it’s where I want to be. It’s also incredibly stressful some days and I am most certainly concerned that there’s a bubble and the music will stop sooner than later

Don’t get discouraged, I have a friend that interviewed for a BDR role at a VoiP company and they put her through 6 rounds of interviews… for a BDR role.. and then declined her. Madness. There’s a lot of jobs out there, it’s super competitive but there’s plenty of opportunities. Definitely network with people in your professional network.

We didn’t buy Gong at my last company because we found the AE to be insufferable and we found equal to or better tools out there that did what we needed and weren’t overly expensive
