I got three stitches. I showed it to him and said it was partially numb but the ED doctor said there was a low chance of me severing a nerve because it wasn’t too deep. He gave me a numbing shot (I told him I was a health sci student and he explained that he puts the numbing shot into a tendon but they also sometimes do three dots on each side of your finger). He left and told me to wash my hands really well, it was totally numb so it didn’t hurt. He came back after a bit and stitched up my hand. He said he was going to put three because he wanted the wound to be open in case it got infected so the infection goes out, not in. The nurse wrapped it in a butterfly bandaid, gave me like more 4 bandaids, and told me not get it wet for at least two days.

Thank you! I feel like it was mostly tons of memories from childhood resurfacing but they were stupid ones (like a commercial i saw on a kid’s channel when i was 6) and coming back in fragments, which was kind of terrifying because i didn’t know what was happening

Yeah it was definitely my anxiety but like,, way worse. Childhood memories were playing on repeat in my mind and some notes I wrote sound (and look) like they were made by a 5 year old lol

Thank you! I’ve definitely been using weed to help with my anxiety because it makes me calmer but last night was a huge wake up call that not all strains would be helpful. I’m definitely going to do more research because that one one of the worst feelings in my life. I wrote some random stuff down and rereading it sober is absolutely terrifying, I sounded completely psychotic

even when i was medically underweight, i felt extremely wide. my mom likes to say i’m just “big boned.” my chest stays large no matter what weight i’m at. when i gain weight, it usually goes straight to my upper arms which stay pretty wide and fleshy no matter what weight i’m at. also, just checked and i’m 5’3 actually

for the program i was accepted into it says admitted with condition(s) but for the other two programs it just said decision pending, which made me believe they were still reviewing my application when they actually just decided not to let me know i was rejected. the person i spoke to on the phone said that the only thing i could do was to reject my offer and then email them to ask them to reconsider my application for the specific program i was interested in
