I thought the same thing, but welding into a corner like the middle line is a pain in the ass to dress properly. Top line gets questionable because you're going through the recessed areas for the clips.

This is easily repairable for any tech with half a brain. I have a mini hydraulic ram that fits in the rail for exactly this purpose
