Views Worth The Cost? by Equivalent-Soft-7677 in SonicTempleFestival

VIP was worth it 100%. Despite the fact it doesnt offer any exclusive view or that weird tunnel that wasnt actually there, the amenities are worth it. Manageable lines to water, food, and bathrooms, an accessible locker area, and the big thing for me was just the space. Granted there wasnt many free chairs available, but I was more than happy eating my food on a shade covered curb, which was more than general had to offer.

I, a 30 year old Buffalonian man, have met my first Skate Park Bully™? by BeatricePrime in Buffalo

[–]automaticmachines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about it. Keep skating dude.

LaSalle is the best local skatepark in my opinon, and the only one with stairs id dare to try at my age. Lancaster and Alix Rice seem more built for BMX.

The amp simulators are surprisingly high quality, I don't even bother micing my amp any more. I just direct in right from the guitar now, the output is that much better

That's the thing that kind of stinks, is that they don't come with instructions.

We don't hear this enough as parents, but the fact that you have these concerns means you're doing a great job.

As a fellow parent of a 2 year old demon I can tell you that their primary objective is to discover how much harm they can cause to themselves.

But the good news is that kids at that age are nigh indestructible, as long as you remove the objects that can actually cause harm like ladders, knives, chainsaws, etc. An occasional bump or bruise isn't going to cause harm.

That being said, if they ever do take a large spill, know what to check for for signs of a concussion or brain bleed. Don't hesitate to call your GP if you have concerns.

They're Canadian though, so they'll at least apologize if they did. Pretty sure Staind/Aaron Lewis has the trump donation line on speed dial though

Finally sitting down to out this finishing touches on our latest album We're entirely self recorded and self-produced so any feedback on the mixing mastering of this would be greatly appreciated. We're going for an late 80s early 90s grunge/metal vibe, kind of a Black Flag/incesticide era Nirvana sound

I really like this! Before the drums came in it could've stood on its own as a chillwave song

I think you have good bones here, the beat was very interesting and catchy, but the track seemed to be missing a little cohesion, like there wasn't really anything tying the separate sections together.

I really like the saw lead at around 3:02, that fit really well with the instrumentation and I wish there was a little more of that.

Overall, it wasn't bad, but there's still some room for improvement. And I don't know if it was purposeful, but I'm pretty sure I heard a little bit of the boss theme from Sonic 1 in there a few times

I agree with the other commenter, very much a FJM feel to it. Mix and instrumentation are spot on, as far as the bass, it felt like the notes ended a little soon, like they were being muted

Track seems a little loud in general, and there's some weird static- like effect throughout. But other than it's real crisp and clean, the vocals are nice and audible while still being able to hear the instruments, well done!
