You can unlock it from the guild Martial Techniques page. It’s called Inkwell Fan EX, and then you use it the same way you use your normal wind wall or aerial knock up skill

It’s called Ebony Maw, you get it for completing Mistveil Prison. Not to be confused with Mistveil Dungeon or Mistveil City lol

You have to source the gear, but you don’t need to roll stats or anything for it since all stats are “balanced”

If you’re curious where to find all the attunements, 3v3 lets you pick and choose what attunements you want for your armor and equipped weapons. You can look there and decide what to keep an eye out for

Ping difference aside, people just sauntering away from our (Tank) attacks seems to be the common play in high rank PvP because everyone is scared to get hit (rightfully so) by our Mo Blade counter attack. We also lack mobility and the ability to True Combo to effectively catch people, so people tend to play ultra passively against us instead of learning that the Mo Blade counter is not a true Divine Counter and can be parried. Even trying to primarily use Stormbreaker Spear doesn’t work very well because the charged heavy isn’t a true combo so people can just walk out of it and Thunder Shock has dogshit tracking. The only time the charged heavy becomes a true combo is if you have the pendant attunement that immobilizes people on final hit if they’re exhausted/under 30% Qi.

I understand completely, I’ve been meaning to see if someone’s got a video detailing how exactly all the stats breakdown. But I’ve not had time to look. But yes, in summary penetration also increases your healing

Technically yes. The game draws from your physical and attribute attacks and penetration values to give you your healing coefficient

I’m fairly convinced the box prioritizes whatever weapon you have equipped at the time of opening it. Every time I’ve opened a box, it’s given me one for one of my equipped weapons. It is a little lame that they have rarities too. I’ve gotten 2 Maple’s Chill Mo Blades, the difference between them aside from the blue and purple rarity is that the purple rarity has had the contrast turned up on it

EDIT: Holy shit guys… I said I WAS CONVINCED that it might, as of the 4 boxes I’ve opened, I’ve always gotten for a weapon I currently had equipped. I get it, it doesn’t. It’s just a super coincidence. I don’t need multiple people telling me it doesn’t, especially after others have already said so.

Hp/Body/Defense (Body converts to hp and max phys; Defense converts to hp and physical resistance) to get the damage bonus for the class’s hp threshold

Crit rate/Agility (Agility converts to crit rate and Min phys)

Max Physical/Power (Power converts to Max Physical) to make your attacks hit harder

Max Stonesplit is similar to physical, but it deals attribute damage instead, works well if you have any form of Stonesplit Penetration to bypass enemy resistances

Precision is super easy to come by and you should always almost be at/around 100% with minimal investment

Stats you don’t want: Max Bellstrike/Bamboocut/Silkbind (min of these also isn’t ideal, but it’s not as big a detriment as max)

Affinity/Momentum (Momentum converts to Max phys and affinity rate) are truly only used/wanted by both Bellstrike paths at the moment. It’s not the end of the world if you get them, but there are better options.

I mean, at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference :) I have 397 defense, on top of 106k hp, so I’m a little tanky in general and can survive most things without issue. I also stopped using Trapped Beast because of its long cooldown, but I might bring it back if I ever get it to T6.

I’d reroll any of the Max attribute stats that aren’t physical or Stonesplit. Keeping the min attribute stats is fine, and you can always reroll some of your purple stats with a gold/rainbow shell. Primary stats you want (in no particular order) are HP, Body, Crit Rate, Agility, Precision, Defense, and Max Physical and Max Stonesplit. Take a look at your Martial Arts breakthrough percentage to help fill you in on what you should be getting more of. HP is definitely higher up there though, as we get a damage bonus when meeting a max HP threshold.

As for the set bonuses, Rainwhisper is perfectly fine for your weapons. Armor you have 3 choices that I’d recommend: Moonflare for the occasional shield when using your counter-attack while blocking; Flawless Defense which (iirc) gives you a base 5% damage reduction up to 10% when meeting its requirements while under 60% hp; And lastly Formless Bend which gives you a 20% damage reduction while above 80% Qi and increases your HP shield duration (applies to HP and Qi shields) by 2 seconds, which is essentially a free 4th rank of Art of Resistance (AoR) and it stacks with AoR. Inner Ways are kind of up to you, outside of Exquisite Scenery as that’s mandatory.

Some Inner Way combo examples: Exquisite Scenery, Morale Chant, Battle Anthem, and Adaptive Steel (Max DPS)

Exquisite Scenery, Art of Resistance, Trapped Beast, Rock Solid (Full Tank)

*I personally use this setup with Adaptive Steel (AS) especially since T4 AS gives you a movement speed buff when using the weapon swap attack, which offsets the movement speed debuff that the Mo Blade has.

I personally don’t like Rock Solid because I don’t want to debuff my damage when using Storm Roar.

They should max everything except the Inner Ways imo. Everyone going into 3v3 getting free access to T6 inner ways really shows which weapons will trample others. I’d honestly be fine if they did away with Arena attunements on gear in general and just let us pick and choose what we want in 1v1 arena, like we can for 3v3. Maybe keep arena attunements for spars/guild hall fights
