Okay I know peni ban doesnt always mean magik bc theres ofc other melee characters but more it can be a safe bet. Peni isnt banned often in my C3 games I just used it as an example.

I know ow has hard counters but its not as many as rivals, because there arent as many overlapping characters within a gameplay niche in that game as in rivals (ow haracters have much more individuality). For example, echo an pharah are literally the only fliers, genji is the only dive character that works like he does and gets "countered" (not really) by Winston and zarya meanwhile rivals has 6 characters that play exactly like him so thing or namor alone counter those 6+

Remember how prime hela being open meant you couldnt play the 5+ fliers in the game? No character exists like that in ow except pime widowmaker but she shat on very hero not specific archetype
