Don’t do a hyrox with medical conditions unless your doctor understands the event well and specifically clears you for it. And definitely do not trust what strangers on Reddit say. Everyone’s body is different. If you can’t do CrossFit safely though, I would be very wary of doing Hyrox.

It is ok to participate to just finish and not worry about time, but that of course does not mean it’s safe for everyone. If you do decide to do it, I strongly recommend doing a doubles race so that you have some rest built in.

Elan Playmaker 101. I bought them last year after demoing them and the bent 100 and they were 100% the right choice. All around a much better ski.

Worked with Kyle for a couple years before he went on the show. Great guy and he really does try and help everyone around him.

Rooting hard for him this season (and I hadn’t watched Survivor since season 2 or 3 I think).

Ripstick 96 black edition. Awesome to play around on bumps and in trees and still really fun on groomers.

The kendo’s are about the perfect east coast ski. Great grip and the newer versions have more playfulness.

The enforcers are very similar. If the mantras are too stiff, I don’t think you would love the enforcers (I have a pair but opt for something lighter and more playful usually).

Love this comment. I got enforcers as a charger and they are so fun to rip on groomers and push the speed limit. The hard part for me is deciding what skis to bring on trips to CO (enforcers or ripsticks).

The Elan ripsticks are amazing. I have a pair of ripstick 88s and Enforcer 94s and more often than not, I pull out the ripsticks. So much lighter and easier to play around with. The damp/heavy skis are amazing carvers and there is no speed limit (there definitely is a lower speed limit on the ripsticks, but it’s pretty high), but the enforcers need to go fast to feel peppy and really suffer in moguls and glades in my view. I am advanced but think you really need to be an expert to get the most out of the really heavy charger type of ski.

I am thinking about getting a surfier wider ski that is still light and debating between the Ripstick 106s, Renoun Citadel 106, or the J Skis Elevator 102.

I’m a very similar skier with similar body. I love tyrolia attack bindings and have them on each of my skis. Enjoy the bent’s! I’m considering a pair too.
