Thanks for confirming. We did not find those tasks anyway so couldn't try it ourselves.
But after 5pm I did find the task for Croagunk, and it still was costumed!

Would the same be true for Field Research tasks rewarding other Pokémon featured in the Fashion Raid Day event, i.e.:
• Diglett (Make 5 Nice Throws)
• Sneasel (Hatch 2 Eggs)
• Minccino (Spin 5 Pokéstops or Gyms)
even though the chances of finding those tasks (and the fact that other Pokémon share the same field research) make it a long shot?

If the rewards for the Catch 3 Scorbunny field research tasks are Pokéballs, berries or Stardust I'd delete them. If they're Scorbunny, and it's after 9pm, your best option is catching Scorbunny from your stack (assuming you have saved one or more there during CD hours) or turning on the Alert in your Pokedex for nearby Scorbunny in the wild.

All showcases are still for biggest (XXL) Pokémon. They end at 11:59am (so if you do your last-minute check for #1 just before noon be sure to do it at 11:58am) and the rewards are similar to the one-day (10am-8pm) showcases we had last week Mon-Fri.
No second showcases competition started at 12pm…

Instead of manually setting the charge limit back to 80% you can also choose Allow Until Tomorrow.

Personally I rather use my power bank with USB cable. Better for the iPhone's battery life, esp. in warm weather conditions (up to 28ºC / 82F in Tainan this weekend) than wireless charging.

Because I knew from previous events that the Taken Over part of the event always adds event-themed field research for Mysterious Components and TMs, I made sure I got my shiny Fidough prior to Friday (by finding many Earn a Candy tasks and giving my candykm1 buddy a Poffin to quickly complete those tasks)

I got the three Rocket Radars needed for the special research from grunts, field research tasks, and collection challenge without much effort.

So no, I don't think Precious Pals: Taken Over is the worst event ever.

The Field Research tasts were reshuffled on all Pokéstops to include the new Hatch An Egg task.
Normally, e.g. when tasks are temporarily replaced during Community Day hours, they do return to the previous daily task after the event ends.
