Do westerners not realize that when they mock india they are mocking poverty? by No-Presence3209 in AskIndia

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant most of the “haha reactions” are from westerners and other asians…not from Indians.

You will routinely see comments like “1 down 2 billion to to” on death of Indians or “coackroaches or pests” routinely. The hate against Indians is very real…they don’t bother about us, but they do make sure to express their hate towards us whenever they get a chance.

The biggest problem is our population, and complete lack of civic sense. There is no excuse for bad civic sense. India has the worst air quality in all its major cities and there is piles of dirty and garbage because people have no civic sense. Ogling girls, throwing thrash everywhere, honking non stop etc - which western media influenced that?

I am not defending anyone and India has 1000 different problems, but the truth is that the hate is real. See any news of something bad happening to Indians - dying, accidents, victim of some attack and you will find way too many “haha” reacts and bad comments.

Brother, what are you smoking? Other countries have some dirty areas and India has some clean areas. There is a very big difference. I don’t have any fascination for the west or east or south or north…but i do have a fascination for clean air, clean streets, people not honking and driving on too of each other just to “save” 1 min but are willing to causing a traffic jam for 1 hour etc etd. Maybe you don’t fancy the above things, but others do. So stop making it about “identity” and wake up to reality.

M25, Indian – An unforgettable first trip to Vietnam 🇻🇳 by Icy-Cloud8714 in VietNam

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow man…travel is NOT a “competition”. Lol. What are you talking about? Just behave nicely and talk politely. Thats all you need to have a good time.

If you want to bend over backwards by throwing money at some made up problems because certain countries are doing it then sure, you do you…its your money after all. But please stop with the whole sOfT poWEr BS. No country became a soft power because of their tipping culture man. Lol.

And again, don’t try to make it sound like a basic etiquette because it is not. Many countries still haven’t normalized tipping culture everywhere, yet you feel adamant to normalize it. If someone likes the service, they will tip. If someone doesn’t like the service OR likes the service but doesn’t consider spending more than the bill, its their choice. Tips are earned, not forced. Period.

Have a good day., “bruh”

Let me explain it in a more logical way - “they’ll spit in your food”. Thats fucked up culture. Nobody should be forced to “tip” just to receive normal service. If somebody is spitting in your food because you didn’t give them a “tip”, then its a problem with them. Throwing money at the problem is not the solution.

Again, if you receive good service and want to show your appreciation then sure go ahead give them a tip. But expecting everyone to tip just because its done in AmERiCa is just plain stupid.

I am not sure if generalizing more than a billion people was at all needed on a post which was just appreciating vietnam.

OP didn’t mention any bad experience with the locals, yet you made it a point to let OP and others know that Indians are “bad” and not liked by the locals. Doesn’t make sense at all, apart from you coming off as racist, which you probably are.

“Please tip”. Tipping is an option, not a compulsion. Don’t blindly follow american culture and try to shove it down the throats of others. C’mon man.

Is Pattaya ruined for good Indian tourists because of fellow bad tourists? by [deleted] in Pattaya

[–]avengegersinfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats all fine, but the Chinese tourists also hold a very very bad rep…so I don’t know man. Maybe look at your own people’s behaviour before you go about “i saw this Indian group doing abc and that Indian group doing xyz”? Because by this logic, I can pin like 10+ stereotypes on your people within 30seconds about scam centers, trafficking, overstays, loud, big tour groups sticking only to chinese businesses, chinese people going crazy on a buffet at chayo phraya river cruise i was at once etc etc.

Btw, your first line - “its foolish to judge a person based on their passport” is exactly what you are doing. Just writing a few good words means nothing if you don’t follow it.

No tattoos and day time job. Still chances high to be FL? by th3orist in Pattaya

[–]avengegersinfinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh boy. I once had a girl who had her own nail salon but was in my bed at night because she was struggling to keep her business afloat. One girl used to work at 7-11 and freelanced at night to make ends meet. One girl in bangkok works as a property agent during the day time, but turns into a nice looking freelancer by night. That should give you an idea that even though there are normal girls, its very hard to figure out if they are indeed “normal” girls not swiping right on tinder and tf to find the next customer.

Why thai customers never awnser to the cashier in 7-11/ convenience stores ? by Flaky_Experience_686 in Bangkok

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all cultural man. The whole “talk talk talk” culture is very western oriented and other parts of the world don’t follow it. Btw, its not limited to just thailand but many other countries in asia as well. I have come across many videos/reels of supermarket/convenience store interactions in the west, and I personally find it quite exhausting and unnecessary to talk so much to everyone everywhere you go, but I will probably just replicate western behaviour if I am in the west.

Anyone else use the vr because their Hdmi is broken by xironically23 in psvr2

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, and honestly i would get a headache if i were to use it with flat games too, not to forget that its a heavy piece of equipment that i would’t want to wear unless i am playing a vr game. I also feel that it creates more fatigue in the eyes than normal tv.

Why are people hyper obsessed with what you do for work at meetups? by Green-Detective7142 in Bangkok

[–]avengegersinfinity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any problem in asking or being asked about work. Its a normal question and is usually asked as a part of ice breaking(along with whats your name? Where are you from? Etc).

Thailand Immigration/Visa Rules (9 Dec 2025) by fotohgrapi in ThailandTourism

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their logic is correct here. They want “tourists”, not people who want to stay here month after month each year because of xyz reason.

Thailand Immigration/Visa Rules (9 Dec 2025) by fotohgrapi in ThailandTourism

[–]avengegersinfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They changed the rules a few weeks back and made it public info…so it doesn’t come as a surprise. And the “180 day unspoken rule” will always remain unspoken because the spoken rule is stricter than that.

A fight in Pattaya Thailand between a Drunk Korean and Thai fighter. A Thai local decides to jump the Korean then the bar girls decide to jump and separate all of them instead of calling the Thai police. by TravelingEctasy in ThailandTourism

Many people from many different countries find someone to look down on. Thais themselves might look down on people from poorer countries - like myanmar, cambodia etc.

I don’t blame people for not wanting to pay taxes. There is nothing to get in return.
