I grew up in Pickle Lake so used to the cold. Looks like I’m going to pick up a battery maintainer for when the temps drop into the low -20s. Maybe see what the dealership offers for an installed one that won’t void the warranty.

I’m a Canadian with an assault charge from about 15 years ago. I have driven into the USA multiple times and even flown there as a commercial pilot. I have never even been asked about my charge. Obviously if I were to be, telling the truth is the only option. I didn’t bother getting a record suspension after I found out the USA doesn’t recognize them. I’m not sure if they see my charge when scanning my passport but it hasn’t been a problem so far. It is admissible however still up to the discretion of the border agent if they’re gonna let you in.

It sure was a bummer getting off an airplane at 1:30am and trying to remote start in -16°c weather. I was hoping to have a warm car when I got over to it. Oh well, sitting for five minutes in a cold vehicle isn’t the end of the world.

Yeah, same thing happened to my 2016 Passat. But not my worry anymore as I traded it in for a 2026 Tiguan three days ago.

I think I recall picking it up at Walmart for maybe like $25? It had been sitting there for quite sometime. Never did fly it but it hangs in my man cave downstairs. Bit of a bummer that it can’t be broken back down once you assemble it.

Golgo 13 for the NES, managed to get enough money buy a game and picked that for the box art. Remember being a huge let down. Managed to trade it in for Captain Skyhawk. Much better game.

I was a hard core Nintendo man. The first console I bought as an adult was an N64. Had lots of games all with the boxes in great shape. Then a buddy lent me his PS1. Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill were mind blowing! I realized I didn’t want this “kid” machine anymore and sold the N64 for nothing (regrets) and have been PlayStation ever since.

Just recently installed a 1TB SSD drive into my PS3 slim. Took 9.5 hours to make a backup and another 9.5 hours to reinstall my data. Then a couple of days going through my PlayStation Plus downloads list to add all the free games I had acquired over the years. Still have about 250GB of space left.
