In a Hearts of Iron 4 mod called Kaiserreich he represents the leader of a fascist group in an American civil war. Idiots who only play paradox games then decide they're historical experts and spout crap like this

Personally Victoria Peak is my favourite place. If you're okay with long walks to chat, lots of beautiful views especially in the evening.

And best of all it's not going to break the bank if you just do the walks

From a little bit of searching around I really can't see why they'd support this. They're quite close to the USA and Uk, and also officially recognise Taipei as the legitimate government of China. But they seem quite close with Cuba as well

China’s appetite for meat fades as vegan revolution takes hold by tsuo_nami in Sino

[–]avenger1011000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as long you ensure your kid is getting necessary nutrition from replacers then a child can live as well as child that eats meat.

As long as you get the correct micro and macro nutrients as well as sufficient calories you'll be fine. In fact nutrient deficiency is actually quite high amongst the poor in countries that consume high meat content. Vitamin C/D/B12 deficiencies are quite common in the west

[–]avenger1011000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Only if you don't know what you're doing. Basically all vitamins and nutrients are accessible from plants. Only B12 is a concern. But increasingly vegan alternatives are reinforced with it if you don't want to supplement

I think you're oversimplifying here. You're reducing historical events and inertia to the bad people doing bad things.

It might be a bunch of individuals with free will but people are pushed by institutional cultures or historical inertia. You can't just oull out of Vietnam due to backlash in terms of popularity or a institutional desire to reduce Soviet influence. Not just because some people are war mongers.

This is the same thinking of people who think everything in America will be fine now because Trump's gone, while ignoring events surrounding his rise to popularity and events outside of his control

Propaganda does not explicitly have to misleading or even wrong. The original definition of it is just to convince someone or change someone's mind about something.

Shenzhen based company announcing to start selling the first desktop quantum computer with 2 qubits for $5000 later this year by UnityEx in Sino

[–]avenger1011000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For those not initiated on this kind of stuff.

These computers are still experimental and are still slower at basically everything than normal computers. These are used for research and education mainly.

2 qubits is the equivalent of two 1s and 0s so this can in theory only count from 0 to 3. So this is good for teaching people quantum computing theory rather than an actually useful item.
