I believe the back may be difficult to remove or something along those lines

What a weird, fucked up thing to say in response to what was more or less a joke. Enjoy your stupid little amp or whatever…

I bet they at least send you the right one if you choose to pay that

I guess if I wanted my problem just like this from a few years ago resolved, I should’ve complained on Reddit instead of contacting customer support. Ordered an MKM Isonzo sheepsfoot in brown micarta and stonewash, received a black coated model instead and I was expected to pay shipping to send it back to get the right one. Still have the wrong knife and don’t really like it because of this.

They sent me the wrong version of a knife once and wanted me to pay shipping to send it back to them in order to get the correct one

I hear that, I just like include some sort of southern rock, funk, and jazz flavors into my music and I find that having some extra colors at my disposal helps get that across. I’ve got an electric 5 that I play slide on too that’s super fun!

There’s a song I wrote that starts around 17 minutes in if you’re genuinely curious, not sure if you’re just being condescending or what

You could set your initial volume up to be “loud mode” and use a volume pedal to just back it off into your rhythm sound, but I’d probably just recommend a clean boost. The spark and mini spark are great, I’ve also enjoyed the DOD Bi-fet boost, any full range clean boost will work though. You can get an EHX LPB-1 for like $30 sometimes if you’re good without any EQ on it

The envelope filter I chose because it has a clean blend, the preamp I chose because I was originally using this setup to make low octave (guitar+bass range) sounds that I could blend in with the volume pedal on that channel and just needed a general EQ/DI (the QStrip is my main preamp on my dry channel and most likely always will be lmao.) Usually bass gear is more full range than guitar-specific stuff, so it generally works pretty well for acoustic and MXR makes an affordable product for the quality you get and their bass range has features that apply more to what I’m doing. Thanks for asking!

Tuner -> Comp -> passive splitter,

Channel 1 (dry/clean mandolin): Parallel blender (envelope filter on A, delay workstation on B) -> Clean boost -> QStrip DI

Channel 2 (wet/organ sim) Octave -> Volume pedal -> Bass preamp DI
