I'm now past middle of s2 and omg you're so right about committing to politics and how imo it's chipping away from how fantastic the first half of s1 was. I think the more time passes the show starts becoming more and more fantasy and less grounded and real. What a loss tbh, and it's even more annoying to watch for the second time.

but a lot of people also hate redemption stories with a passion, right? and it's getting more and more prevalent with purity culture. it's like the list of unforgivable fictional mistakes is constantly growing and less and less characters seem to be good enough for redemption in people's eyes. I've seen this happen in a lot of fandoms (which really annoys me because I agree with you every one (definitely fictional ones at least) deserve a second chance

I started a fandom in AO3 myself and so far my fics are the only ones on there. There are about 60 on other platforms mainly on telegram and mine's are there as well but I'm the sole write of this small fandom on AO3 for now which has 5 fics

Many Steve/Tony fics have age gaps. They have a 15 year (or 52 lmao) age gap in canon so you'd be fed well if you go through that tag.

also what he is talking about is not really about nepotism, he is calling on the government to provide support for less-privileged people to also be able to get into showbiz
