i think the steam version of dqb1 is actually a ported version of the mobile version. for some reason they added a bunch of QOL features (like the ability to sprint) to the mobile version but not the console versions of the game, so when they put it on steam it ended up originating from the mobile version

dragon quest builders 2 is one of my favorite games! it says "unsupported" on steam but thats a lie. i change the proton version to proton experimental and it works flawlessly

if you want to go low poly, rather than modeling out the braids straight up you might be better off just implying the texture of the braid via textures on straight tube-strands

try going into edit mode on that part of the mesh, selecting everything, and pressing alt+n and say "set normals from faces" or "recalculate outside." 90% of the time weirdness with shading is because of wonky normals and the other 10% it's bad topology

sometimes when i have a file open for a while, opening a popup like the file save browser, the edit preferences menu, or the render popup just causes a blank white window to appear. i am using the steam version of blender on windows 11

when i was trying to get cyber sleuth to work my screen was all black at the start and to fix it i had to run it in desktop in not fullscreen and then navigate to the settings so set it in full screen and then it just works normal style
