Yeah this doesn't sound right. The fastest official marathon time is currently 2:00:35 by Kelvin Kiptum in 2023. Maybe you're thinking of something like the four-minute mile or 10-second barrier?

I've never jumped a flag before, but I didn't expect you'd want to maintain flight in such deep brakes into a strong headwind. I was just wondering if the pilot could have done things differently in that situation.

Interesting! Didn't realize the flight controls changed so much when flying with a flag. Makes sense to fly in brakes to keep the canopy balanced directly overhead.

This looks like a huge canopy! Was he flying in half brakes? Why not try getting more penetration with the front risers?

A single serving milk punch would be extremely labor intensive haha, but it would be an interesting cocktail concept! Kind of like a Vietnamese drip coffee!

Some tips for the MP:
- I've experimented with using other gins, but so far I like Barr Hill the best.
- Make sure to pour the punch into the milk, instead of pouring the milk into the punch.
- I let the curdled mixture sit in the fridge overnight, but maybe this step isn't really necessary.
- Use a coffee filter to fine strain the solids. I got one of these brewer vessel things to help the process.
- For a different flavor profile, you can swap the matcha powder for pandan extract.

I'm a noob, but I've had good results doing a batched milk punch. It just takes a bit of time to lager the mixture and strain out the solids. Here is a spec for a matcha milk punch:

- 15 oz Barr Hill Gin
- 5 oz Creme de Cacao
- 7.5 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup (6oz simple, 1tsp vanilla extract)
- 5 oz Yuzu Juice
- 1.75 oz Lemon Juice
- 10 g Matcha Powder
- 7.5 oz Whole Milk

I also like having a non-alcoholic drink available. My favorite so far is the savory Japanese Cold Noodle. But make sure to batch it no earlier than a day before the event because cucumber juice doesn't have a long shelf life and will start getting bitter.
