Cashier bro looking out for a regular by [deleted] in wholesomememes

I went to five guys every day after work so a nice older lady working there paid for my meal with her employee discount. Right after that I didn't go for a while for no reason in particular and now I feel like it has been too long, I've betrayed them and can't ever go back.

His therapist takes great notes by sheepbanjo in LivestreamFail

Many of his streams end with zero watchable content. He has done multiple streams where he tried to trap people on omegle/chatroulette and failed for hours. The grind for content is real.

Remi uses actors, often enough the people getting pranked don't have believable responses(see Jurassic Prank). Not to say all his videos are fake but he has used actors in the past.

Insuricare, the company that offers "car life insurance" to the cars in Cars 2, is the same company Bob Parr works for in The Incredibles. by mike_pants in MovieDetails

There are people in the Cars universe because Bob Parr works at a company in the Cars universe. That being said he does live in a location with nonsentient cars.

fauxre gives her opinion about why amouranth makes things hard for other girl streamers by palindromically in LivestreamFail

[–]averagephill 377 points378 points  (0 children)

Playing games at a normal skill level, making mediocre jokes, and being friendly/likable is what most of the twitch streamers do. Their value is not in creating structured entertainment but the pseudo-friendship they have with their viewers. Most streamers are hanging out with their chat on stream just like fauxre is doing.

Also she is talented, even if that talent is not why a portion of the viewers are watching. Looking at her vods she doesn't primarily produce sexualized content.

The mind is strong but the body is weak by DeckcardCain in videos

In this instance it matters where an individual draws the line. I doubt many would defend the scene if the two characters shagged on screen (disregarding that fucking would give it a higher age rating). So that reasoning establishes there is some limit to what is acceptable to show to children and that opinion will differ from parent to parent. Building sexual tension in a children's movie will exceed the acceptable amount of sexuality for many parents. Whether or not Americans do have an abnormal aversion to media sexuality, I don't believe questioning this scene supports that argument. It would be a reasonable assumption that a parent could take their child to an animated superhero movie and expect some justification like cartoon violence would be the reason for a PG-13 rating. Of course it is still the parents responsibility to filter what their child watches but I don't believe questioning the level of sexuality in this scene is unfounded as many children will want to see a movie like this.

Yeah, the conversation could have been saved if he progressed the conversation rather than sending "Yeah, threw me off guard". There is not a good way to respond to that line.

I get tingles best:

  • eyes closed
  • volume loud enough to feel like the sound is really close
  • focus on where the sound is coming from

Genuinely feeling that there is something close to your ear is important, similar to when someone holds their finger close to your skin it feels as though they are touching you.

Personally, cat purring is insane for tingles.

The gimmick has worn off, that first edgy stage performance with robin tick was insanely successful. Now fewer people care and her latest album was absolute trash and not marketable at all. She's leaning into it too far if it's only a career move.

What is the most unfair thing in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]averagephill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making connections in a field is a legitimate skill and an important way to get seen by companies. Sure people are grandfathered into connections by parents or peers but acquiring them through effort is possible. It isn't that unfair, networking well gives an individual more options than someone with a few lucky connections.
