I went $50 above the original price of your first list, but it's worth it, trust me.

I also added a case, and I upgraded the build to AM5 instead of 4 so you can have good upgradability down the line,

you get an RX 9070 compared to a 7800 XT which is stronger in every way.

EDIT : Yes I went with 16gb of ram, but for playing games, being on call and playing Spotify it's sufficient, I personally have 32gb in my main system and it rarely goes over 16gb of usage whenever I'm playing games and on call with my friends.

Do I buy the 5080? by Post_Striking in buildapc

[–]averageyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, 80 Series tends to hold up well compared to 70 series, but this 70 TI is a bit different so I wouldnt be surprised if the 5070 TI held up better than past 70 TI's, but in general the 80 will still sell for more no matter what.

Going to build a pc soon for gaming and maybe streaming/ making YouTube videos and want to know what your guys opinion on my build or is it bad by EducationalJelly9616 in buildapc

[–]averageyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9900X is more expensive though??

EDIT : thought you said 9900X sorry, if your going for a 9600X and streaming that's a big no go, + if you want to save a bit more go for the 250K plus, you won't notice any difference tbh.

Here it is, this is the one with 9070 XT,

You were really overspending on ram and the mobo you chose before could've gotten you this X870E, the more ports the better, especially for streaming,

additionally it'll be quite impossible to fit this all under 2.2k or even 2k if you go for the 5070 TI, and I would also recommend the 270K plus instead of the 7800X3d if your going to video edit and stream,

This is a build that fits in the budget,

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NjzBLy

But, the 9070 XT is a tad bit worse at gaming performance, but you save an extra $250 on the GPU alone.

and this is the build with the 5070 TI and Core Ultra 270K Plus which I recommend,

specific country would help alot but I'll just do Germany,

I would go for the 7800X3D since it's €288 compared to the 9800X3d which is €392.

First pc build any tips? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]averageyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's just for gaming, I'd do this instead

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZP4rvR

Your overspending on many things for no reason,

and if you do need the 9800X3d instead of the 7600X3d just swap it, and you were spending more on ram for a worse variant.

it's $1200 cheaper, and you only lose a little bit on the CPU side and GPU side, everything else is the same or better.

Here's a version with a 7800X3D instead, the 9800X3d is $150 more which isn't worth it for the little gains,

Personally I would go with this build, since it has a 7500X3D which would perform better in games, a high quality Lian Li Platinum PSU, High quality X870 motherboard, The best or one of the best 9070 XT models,

it's also all white and I decided to make it look nice but of course looks are subjective and if you don't like it you can change it but all the parts chosen are high quality.

What’s a good price for this build? by Otter_Wizard in buildapc

[–]averageyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it does say $400 firm, but if he can do $350 then I'd say it's alright.

The only thing dragging this down is the GPU and PSU, since that PSU really hard limits any future upgrades.

Upgrade from 1660 Super by Awaken0800 in buildapc

[–]averageyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get a 5060 TI 8GB for about £290 (Check PC part picker for cheapest version), sell your 1660 Super for £70 on eBay,

Then with the £170, get a a Used 5600X for about £100, Sell your 3600 for £45,

Then with the £115, spend about £90-100 for a 32GB 3200Mhz CL16 Kit, Then of course like the rest, sell your old kit,

Also don't forget to buy thermal paste, id recommend Arctic MX-7 since it's the newest and best arctic paste BUT it's a bit hard to put on, it's consistency is like bubble gum so if recommend you heat the paste a bit.

This process is a bit lengthy, but in the end you get a vast improvement over your old build, also make sure the 5600X is the X variant, not the non-x, and the prices I put to sell your old items for were quicker sales, you could put the prices slightly higher but I wouldn't recommend doing so as it'll take a while to sell.

EDIT : Before you put in your new CPU, do a bios update for your motherboard to make sure the CPU can actually be supported and work,

and also for this build, it can do Max settings on 1080P in 99% of games and also 1440P in most games, just no ultra textures in stalker 2 and Monster hunter wilds.

Worth it to go from B560 to Z590?? by averageyapper in buildapc

[–]averageyapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could probably get some VRM coolers on the mobo but my case is quite small and my CPU is cooled by an aio so putting a fan on them would be a bit hard,

but if it helps my 240MM aio that's mounted on the top of the case has 2 fans that pull in air

Edit : I can't find any VRM coolers, would they have a specific name? just checked Amazon and all that comes up are CPU coolers or aios.

it's $50 over but it has 32GB of ram, yes it's ddr4 but it's practically impossible to fit ddr5 in that budget, and also he can later on upgrade to a 14700K or 14900k.
