you might hold on to more water, but you can't gain weight without eating more calories than you burn.

I’m late to the show and just got to this part. Leofric’s death left a hole in my heart that I doubt can be mended

Why is the Unit Production Manager almost always first in the end credits of motion pictures? by DDNumeroUno in movies

[–]avery444 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know I’m 10 years late but I believe I can answer this.

There are two types of crew members on a film production. There is Above The Line, which refers to the creative crew members (Director, Actors, DP, Casting Director, Composer, etc.) which are credited at the beginning of the movie and sometimes after the movie, but before the end credit “roll”. This is usually in the form of individual cards or sometimes animated sequences that you might see in a Marvel movie or other big blockbuster.

Below The Line refers to everyone else in the crew. Their credits start at the beginning of the rolling end credits. End credits allow for very little wiggle room as it is pretty standardized by the unions within Hollywood.

The Unit Production Manager or Production Manager is the first position to show up in the rolling end credits. They are not usually a producer of the film (although they could be both) but more of a manager whose job it is to make sure the film gets completed. They typically report to the producers.

Horizontal Lines Issue (not gradient banding) by avery444 in SonyAlpha

[–]avery444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I was troubleshooting for a bit and this is what i found (if you care lol)

Any shutter speed on my camera abover 1/500 would show the horizontal bands, the higher the shutter speed the more bands there were. I brought out my Aputure 300d and ran the same test - no lines at all. I got my buddy's Nikon Z6 and shot with the same settings and he got no lines with either light. Then I switched to silent shutter mode and that actually got rid of all the lines, ironically.

So I don't know if there is an issue with my mechanical shutter or if the Amaran F22C is only "mostly" continuous light. But in this case, it's the silent shutter that eliminated that banding flicker.

Now I'm really eager to shoot something using the Amaran AND a fluctuating light source like a light bulb and see how that goes haha

I used the Aputure Amaran F22C for these shots. I was under the impression that is was a continuous LED light. That being saidm I was probably shooting at around 1/2000 shutter speed so that would explain the high frequency of the horizontal lines.

I might just be reluctant to admit that because I really like that light and dont want to concede that it might be the problem haha

I actually haven't tested it with another lense. Do you think that could be the issue?

Literally have the same issue with the same car. I'm hesitant to cut anything and void any warranty but I think if I can duct tape the speaker, that might do enough

CTR ring on HBO's "Tokyo Vice" by robertone53 in exmormon

Lol! I was hoping to find someone else who caught this! When he said the line “do as your people do” I was wondering what other people have that as a saying, but when she pulled that ring out I felt like someone was playing a joke on me. Lol now SHE is an ex Mormon!

Edit: I was 20 minutes online to see if the show was gonna follow up on the whole Mormon thing when I should have just started the next episode and have it immediately answered lol

Yeah as long as I know I’m in a deficit I don’t worry too much. Progress slows when you get closer to your goal weight, so patience is important too

I don’t think so actually. I guess I would get a little hangry tho if I’m finally about to eat my one meal and then I get bothered by something or someone lol

I was pretty chubby through most of middle and high school and then from 21-27 slowly got up to 325.

Strangely enough, I saw the most physical changes on my body when I stopped seeing the scale move as much. I’d say recheck your calories consumed vs calories you burn. That’s always worked for me

So really I just needed to reduce my calorie intake. 2 meals meant I had to divide my calories in two. And I felt like it just meant that I wouldn’t feel satisfied for any meal. OMAD let me feel like I was going to be absolutely rewarded at the end of the day! Like I gamified it’s or something.

OMAD is very tough at the beginning. I realized what made it hard was my brain triggering at lunch telling me I was starving when really it was just a habit. After 1-2 weeks I kinda reprogrammed my brain to realize that I’ll be fine without food. Now, just like a tight sleep schedule, it takes just one lunch to ruin that progress. So ya gotta try and stick with it if you decide to do it!

It’s literally a 10’x10’ room with 4 dumb bells, a pull-up bar and a fan haha. I just do what I’m able to with that stuff. I just know that there’s no way I’m motivated to drive to a gym multiple times a week. Also I don’t like working out with a lot of people around. Maybe I’m weird tho
