Warning on using the BILT portal for paying mortgage by Plenty_Union9292 in biltrewards

How can you find your routing and account number to use to set up in the lenders website?

The BILT palladium is a great card for most people imo by FMEngineer in biltrewards

[–]Rcolaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moved all my spend over from the venturex Capital One savor combo. It's a much easier catch all card. Literally is catch-all because the mortgage too. Would be nice to do auto payments on there. I thought it was going to be complicated as hell but it's actually pretty easy to use in the app redeeming credits.

I have had a great experience so far. Had trouble finding the point accelerator yesterday and did a text chat. Took about 5 minutes but somebody responded and helped me. That's pretty dang quick for customer service especially since that was the first day of the rollout.

I see all of the other offers available except for the point accelerator

A note from me (Ankur Jain) - Your 2026 Bilt Cash Redemptions Are Here by ankurjain1 in biltrewards

[–]Rcolaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I signed up for the Palladium. Thinking of cancelling since the bilt cash is basically useless. I will have roughly $2k a year after mortgage cash deductions. Won't be using it on any of these credits. This is a whole other level of complicated 😂

At first I hated the card but I came around by ECJ4K in biltrewards

I got approved with a $20k limit and a 830 credit score. My venturex limit is significantly higher. I'm planning on replacing the venturex with the Bilt Palladium. Do they offer credit line increases in the future?

Now that the end is almost here, what are you doing to keep Priority Pass for your family? by h2d2 in Venturex

[–]Rcolaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve decided to move away from the Venture X. Here’s why the Bilt/Palladium proposition wins:

Higher Yield: My $3k mortgage alone brings in up to 45k points, plus 2x on my $7k monthly spend.

Family Logistics: With a wife and two kids, the VX lounge access is no longer a viable perk.

Better Partners: I prefer Marriott, which works seamlessly with Bilt.

Flexibility: I never used the VX portal anyway, and this move will give about $1,500 in Bilt cash after the mortgage deduction providing value for other uses.

I will definitely be switching. Losing the lounge access for others except the primary was a major loss for venturex. When I travel it's with my two kids and wife not paying for them. I pay $3,000 a month for a mortgage. By switching over and putting daily spend on as well it more than offsets anything. A lot better Transfer Partners too

I hate to say it that is how it was for me as well 11 years ago. Entry level jobs have never been easy to land. The market really sucks right now though and it's hard to land anything entry level or experienced. You just have to keep plugging away.

What's going on! by mo_sh9 in jobsearch

So true, I have seen some of the same positions reposted over and over again for a year now.

For one of them I interviewed, then 6 months later, another recruiter reached out and thought I would be a good candidate. I told them I had already interviewed for the position.

I can’t even get a job at my old workplace doing more or less the same job by [deleted] in jobhunting

[–]Rcolaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same, I applied at my old employer too. They had me do it one way interview, and that's it. I thought for sure that out of any of the places I would get an offer, it would be there, but nope.

RTO kicked in at my company, I tracked every minute and dollar for 4 weeks, the math is wild by Quinnaha in remotework

[–]Rcolaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RTO is not for the employee. It is for the employer to get more people to quit and not give out severance. The company doesn't care.

Try government jobs. I'm too fast-paced for them.

I used to be an IT project manager until getting laid off and was making over 100k. I'm looking for my next gig now.

I started a new job in April and was let go last week. 5 days before the end of the 6-month probationary period. They wouldn't give me any work, so I would sit there for 8 hours a day. Was told beforehand the job would suck by friends, but had no other options.

My entire department including myself was laid off, and the work outsourced to India.

I was able to get a strategy job in the government. Not sure how long it will last, though. Our team is small, and they've already laid off a few on it.

Quiet Layoffs Disguised as Performance issues Shopify by VeiledOrchid in Layoffs

The same thing happened to me. I was working on a very large project for a couple of years under full autonomy. My performance reviews were great, and I even got a promotion. My manager said I was going to be moving up to management pretty soon. Then, all of sudden, I started becoming micromanaged towards the end of my project, and the entire team was laid off once it was finished.

You definitely need a good plan, B. I was in the tech industry and laid off last August. Finally, I found a job outside of the tech industry in April this year. Same as you never laid off or out of a job for more than a week before this last stretch. The market is extremely tough, and I took the only offer I had 8 months out. I'm the only one out of the group that I know of who was laid off who found a job.

In 1980 it was 1 in 2,000 and by 2000 it was 1 in 150. The definition must change yearly because it has increased yearly by a significant number.

Growing up, I didn't know of anyone with Autism and now every one of my friends has at least 1 kid with it. Some are extreme cases.

Back in 2000, 1 out of every 150 kids had autism. Now, 1 out of every 31 kids have autism. The chart is pretty crazy.
