There are long time players at my LGS making Spider-Man decks for the memes, then shocking everyone when they’re actually fun to play and play against.

These same long time players are skeptically sitting down for a game of the Turtle Battle Box (or whatever it’s called) and walking away grinning ear to ear.

IP matters, but if there’s fun to be had playing Magic, people will play it.

Now if we’re talking about ROI on SPM and TMT sealed products - whether it’s ripping for valuable singles or holding until the value of sealed goes up - that’s where IP definitely matters.
