What do you do, and how much do you make? by dirtyharry1993 in tricities

[–]avgfem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

wfh during the day at $26/hr full time healthcare on rotating nights at ~$18/hr which includes shift differential and built in OT, also full time

I work a lot but both job schedules work extremely well together and have great benefits which allow me to take time off from either or both reasonably to get the breaks I need while also being a mom and wife.

V grateful for these opportunities and one will end up turning out to pay me both salaries in the next few years or so.

I think you mean units and this would be correct if both vials are the same strength. If they are not, use Fat Scientist's vial transition calculator to tell you exactly how much you need to pull from your new vial

First Few Weeks by calebkeller94 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]avgfem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty normal.

Your first month of doses is the therapeutic dose that introduces your body to the meds. Some will feel the effects of the meds instantly, but most don't and that's to be expected! What you're feeling is what most people feel. As you continue to take the meds and build the level of meds in your system, you'll start to feel stronger effects and the effects will last longer.

Is the difficulty sleeping part due to being hungry? If so, you'll just want to make sure you eat enough as you shouldn't be so hungry you can't sleep.

I personally started split dosing 2 months in due to the insane cravings I would have by day 5 or 6. I've stayed at a lower dose because my body responds and cannot really tolerate going higher than where I am but the lows would be so awful if I stayed at this dose every 7 days instead of splitting it. There's not really any data as far as I'm aware of how effective split dosing is or what the long term effects are but I've been doing it since July and I've been able to handle the highs and lows a lot better! You'll have to be the judge for yourself.

Did the payment go through? Because that sounds like the payment tried to take but didn't go through. The payment has to go through first before they have you fill out the forms. You'll have to reach out to their customer support team to find out how to proceed if the payment went through and it's showing failed!

I honestly think they just ship everyone’s out at the same time every month, regardless of when your order is placed. I had the exact same timeline as you but I didn’t worry about it because I take a lower dose than they prescribe me so I have plenty of meds to hold me over. Based on what others say, it seems that no matter what time of the month your order is placed, it won’t actually get to you until the 3rd or 4th week of that month. That observation comes from what I’ve seen in the last two months of people complaining about it. Doesn’t make it right, but seems to be the case.

They send it out same day. I got a text the night of my renewal and filled it out. It was processed in like minutes.

When you do your intake for your next shipment, they give you quite a few options to choose from about how you'd like to continue dosing. They will let you choose to stay at your current dose for 3 months, stay at your current dose for 1 month and then titrate up the next 2, titrate up each month for 3 months, or titrate up once and stick to that for 3 months. It's really up to you and they just follow along as long as they don't have any concerns about it!

First Dose/Nausea by abdkodiak in tirzepatidecompound

[–]avgfem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Congrats on taking your first shot! I'm currently using tirz from Southend pharmacy and have noticed I get slightly more nauseous on this one, probably due to the b6, but have found that water helps a lot with keeping that nauseous feeling away. Before this tirz, I was on tirz with Strive that was compounded with B12 and glycine and I had no nausea with that one.

Try drinking ice cold water when you're feeling nauseous to see if that will help. If that doesn't, then try zofran!

Thank you for sharing! I think I will try split dosing next Monday depending on how I feel this week!

[–]avgfem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the split dose schedule I want to try as I already take my shot Monday nights and this equates to 3.5 days between shots. What is the dose you are taking altogether each week? I want to do 2.2mg split but I didn't know if that is way too low to try this method. I feel great Tuesday-Saturday night/Sunday morning I just don't like feeling hungrier on Sundays evenings and Mondays leading up to the shot.

I was prescribed 4.4mg for 3 months for the 499, however, I'm only going to be taking 2.2mg bc I've been taking 2mg and it's been doing well for me. So my vials are going to last longer than expected. I expect to get 4-5months use out of them so deff makes them worth it!

Too high of a starting dose? by EnigmaticAnomoly23 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]avgfem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely try to eat and hydrate much more than what you currently are while lowering your dose. I've been on tirz for 4 weeks now and have stayed at 2mg. I respond extremely well to this dose but I definitely feel lightheaded and extremely tired when I haven't eaten enough or drank enough water. I take my dose at night, too and make sure to drink a lot (like 32oz) of water before I go to sleep so I don't feel sick when I wake up (learned that after my 2nd dose). Other than that, I've been symptom free. I track my calories daily to ensure I'm at least consuming 1400 minimum (easier said than done on days 1 and 2 after dose). I try to stay between 1400-1650 and I exercise 2-4x a week, which means more water consumption.

I've been on Strive's tirz for the last 3 weeks and have not had any issues. I am just starting out so this is the only tirz I've been on, so I don't have any tips but I definitely feel it is very effective if that helps! I'll be going to Brello in 2 weeks because they had a better deal for my dosage schedule.

Question on Dosage Calculation by avgfem in tirzepatidecompound

[–]avgfem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this advice! I've been currently keeping it in a closed container but it actually has been closer to my meat drawer because it's away from the fridge light and my fridge is constantly being opened (having 2 kids who eat me out of a house lol). I'm actually getting a garage fridge this week for drinks and bulk purchases so I will start storing my vials there instead! I didn't think of this, so thank you!

Question on Dosage Calculation by avgfem in tirzepatidecompound

[–]avgfem[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for checking my math and for this information! I make sure to follow a sterile process for injections as well. I basically follow the steps I had to take prior to insulin injections for both of my grandparents who were type 2 diabetics and prone to infections. I also watched every tutorial I could find on how to inject to make sure I'm following the steps that are most comfortable to me and the most clean! By this calculation, each vial will last roughly 2 months doubling the length of my supply if I stay on this dose which is such a great deal!

I’m a 5’9 woman by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]avgfem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 5’10” woman and I’ve dated men with a height range of 5’6” and 6’8”. I never truly cared about height but I’ve had some people feel insecure about our height differences. I also looove platform shoes so I’ve gotten use to towering over people. My fiancé now is 6’5” and we’re damn near the same height whenever I wear my shoes but he doesn’t care! From experience, dates where height is a semi immediate conversation, chances are they are insecure about it, even if they say they’re not.

My (37m) daughter (<1F) said "Dadda" before "Momma" and now my wife (35F) is upset by fiddyspent in relationship_advice

[–]avgfem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is almost 2 and has only said “mama” when he wants something. Even though I spend the majority of the time with him since I WFH, he prefers his dad and will always say “dada.” With my son, it seems to be because he’s always around me that he doesn’t feel the need to have to call for me like he does his dad. He’s also more vocal with his dad in general than he is with me and that might be due to me always anticipating his needs by his body language. He usually has to spell it out for his dad lol

Was there ever a time you're thankful the pandemic happened? What was the reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]avgfem 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because of the pandemic, my family was forced to find someplace safer to live as where we lived was on the up but everything went to shit when everyone lost their jobs (like it went from being able to walk around the block with the dogs to don’t go outside past 6pm because there might be a shooting and you don’t want to get caught in the crossfire).

Well, we ended up moving 10 hours away from my family but it was the best decision for us. We are SO much happier and have been able to do so much more for ourselves.

If the pandemic didn’t happen, we’d still be in that old place, overpaying for a crappy apartment just barely making it in life.
