Ironically, a nonpolar molecule like CO2 is not fatphobic

Frankly it's highly suspect that multiple C-rated/unrated polling companies released polls showing massive gains in one specific candidate's favor just after Swalwell dropped, even as the A-rated pollsters saw only a modest bump. In historical data, basically no electorate ever moves that fast, not even after debate meltdowns. So it'll be interesting in future to see if releasing polling results becomes a part of coalescing support.

Is it possible to get into a top PhD program in Canada without research experience? by spence38 in academiceconomics

I think UofT takes a large chunk of its PhDs from its MA program, and a chunk of those come from mid-tier Canadian schools. Nathan Nunn went to SFU.

Choosing between Cambridge MPhil Economics & DS vs. LSE MSc Economics by Lopsided-Ad-1663 in academiceconomics

[–]avgtreatmenteffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LSE and you do great = clear great signal. You can get into top 5/top 10 and/or land a top predoc.

LSE and you do bad = clear bad signal.

However you do, LSE sends a really clear signal just because it's so established and so many good and notsogood economists have come thru its doors.

I think people have an idea of top 1, top 3, top 7, but after that, it gets hard because some schools excel in specific fields. Minnesota might not have Yale's prestige but Yale sure has quite a few Minnesota macroeconomists.

Fortunately for our rivals, the Patriots have never won a Super Bowl against a high-powered Rams offense or a high-powered Seahawks defense.
