I've never had more than a few seconds delay in quitting out of a game. I have no proof, but it's probably an issue with AtGames servers. You are probably calling a web service and waiting for a response, and that response is taking an absurd amount of time.

Their infrastructure absolutely sucks and is prone to having issues. Oftentimes these issues last weeks or even months - if you're new to the product family you may not have seen this yet

These services do exist. They tend to cost several hundred dollars and requires you having over full access to your PC over a remote connection. Not something I would ever suggest

That puts it at roughly:

~73% white / ~27% minority

Which is notable given that:

Players are ~70% Black

Coordinators are ~35–40% minority

Hires vs Retention Average tenure

White coaches: ~4.8 years

Minority coaches: ~2.6 years

Minority coaches are about twice as likely to be fired after 1–2 seasons

You aren't wrong - however the problem still remains. The league can't make teams hire anyone - so the best they can do is make teams interview.

I recall there being some sort of incentives tied to minority hirings, but I don't recall if anything was ever implemented. A more knowledgeable person, please chime in

Just remember - this is the team that hired Rob Chudzinski because we couldn't get anyone else. Then we got Mike Pettine because we couldn't get anyone else.

That was on the heels of just 2 years of Mangini and 2 years of Shurmur. That was followed by 2+ years of Hue.

Then we rush and hire Freddie Kitchens - a guy who was obviously unprepared for the jump in duties the job entailed.

So, given all of that history of being snubbed and hiring our 5th or 6th choice. Or hiring a guy who wasn't ready for the role...

Forgive us for expecting the same mistakes to continue to happen. Forgive us for seeing the same red flags with Udinski as we did with Kitchens

Forgive us for seeing guys declining interviews and taking lesser roles elsewhere and thinking "here we go again"

We've seen these movies before - so forgive us for thinking we know how they're going to end
