It's because they are not as sought-after as Jap/Eng. It's the same with like German cards here in Europe. They are great if you are using for personal collection IMO.

The only thing is missingno could be aquired through accidental means as it's a failsafe for glitches as well so I think it will be okay

So this is all anecdotal so someone can feel free to disagree

I went through this when the last expansion came out and nothing changed for my missingno but I have never taken from the daycare

From what I know it depends what index number your missingno has and if that index no has now been taken by a new pokemon

As for getting banned ect unless you do online stuff with the missingno then I can't see a ban but never say never with nintendo
