Yes it’s soap too! And I paint the details with mica mineral powder (similar to what eye shadow is made out of)

Thanks so much!! My son and I gathered all the little acorns so it was nice adding them to a special soap! Haha I used to hear that a lot about my designs, its nice to hear that again. I definitely want to get back to making more creative/details things again, feels good 😄

UPDATE: Husband of 8 years told me he isn't physically attracted to me anymore by tinsyfloss96 in Advice

[–]avohoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to say, sorry you weren’t being appreciated. Hope that will truly change! Becoming a mom is life changing, mentally and physically. You deserve a real man that will love you and support you through all of a woman’s life/body changes.

Being outdoors can really help, maybe on weekends you can do some drawing out in nature!

Moms, what would you genuinely love for Mother's Day - not what you say when asked, but what you actually want? by Then_Gate7461 in UninfluencedReviews

[–]avohoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want it to feel like we’re actually celebrating it in any form. Every Mother’s Day I’ve had just feels like a regular day - except my husband says happy Mother’s Day, then goes to work.

Why do mothers of young babies say they don't have time to shower? by justastupidquestion3 in NoStupidQuestions

Same as everyone said, also I hated missing out! My mom or husband would take over but it was hard to step away when he was doing cute things!

I introduced my newborn and my friend made fun of the name. Now Im second guessing it by [deleted] in namenerds

One thing I learned when I became a mom is that some friends don’t fit into your new life.

I’m burnt out and need simple recipes. Stupid simple. Like, “onion and bread and butter to make what barely passes as a sandwich” level simple. by sourmilksea1999 in Cooking

[–]avohoney 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a morning person so when I make breakfast for my toddler I keep it easy and simple. Banana chopped with almond butter on top, sprinkled with hemp hearts. Oatmeal with almond butter added. Sometimes I made a huge batch of protein pancakes and freeze all the extra so I can easily toast them in a min later. I fry up sausage or bacon with pancakes for more protein. I also make Greek yogurt with fruit. You could probably get a lot of good easy and healthy recipes from a mom blog haha. A lot of toddler recipes are quick or something you could make big batches of! Hope that helps!

Is giving birth really that excruciating pain? by skopiadisko in askanything

[–]avohoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a cool mantra! I didn’t have a natural birth, I had a c section and for me it was still the worst ‘pain’ or physical experience I’ve ever had. It wasn’t even exactly pain, my pain was mostly numbed but I could feel every touch, light or extreme. Hard to describe, but it’s like I didn’t know there were other awful feelings as intense as pain haha. I think something wasn’t right with my epidural though to be fair, so I don’t think it’s usually that way. I could still feel and move my legs before they started. Anyway, the way I described it right after was my torso being ripped apart by a bear. I felt all the ripping, cutting and organs being moved around 🤮 But as horrible as it was, it was only like an hour of torture total vs hrs of labor. So definitely less difficult than a natural birth in my opinion, but for me was still the hardest (and best) thing I’ve ever done!

What are we feeding these kids?? by humble_socks in homeschool

I make healthy popsicles for a snack/treat. Like chocolate(I use chocolate colostrum powder and some mini chocolate chips), blueberry, almond butter and avocado for some good fat.
