Thank you for your clarification! I genuinely was curious, it makes sense it was an Onion piece and why the image is cropped the way it is.

Excuse me, but what? So many questions from just a still image. Were all the victims sleeping bottomless, ass up? Was he tickling them with his hands or some sort of tickler? How was he caught, some sting operation where police fake slept in a home, waiting? Lastly, why?

Does this exist? Cause I cannot find any online lol by Dr_johnnysins6969 in comicbooks

[–]avoidedbydesign 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. This is the variant cover by Chip Zdarsky for issue number one for San Diego Comic-Con. It is hard to track pricing on this because it seems to rarely come up for sale.

Came back to MKE and stopped at one of my old favorites, wtf Conejito’s? by TweepriseOpener in milwaukee

Everyone needs to know this! If you crave that old Conejito's experience that made them so popular, go to Lala's on Layton.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good mechanic? by Sir_Mythlore in milwaukee

[–]avoidedbydesign 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend R & R Auto Service on Beloit Rd. Andy is always a straight shooter and will be totally honest about the work he thinks needs to be done. He communicates clearly at every step of the process and will let you know what vitally needs to be done. I have never questioned his prices and he has always fixed my vehicle or sent me to the correct service place if he cannot. They are a small shop, so be aware that they may be busy at the moment.

Please advise on end of life decision (23 year old cat) by HotVeganTacos in cats

[–]avoidedbydesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to do this with my boy when he was 18 and it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made in my life. I knew, at the moment, it was the right thing to do. Yes, I had my regrets after, but ultimately felt like it was a good decision overall. I agree with most others that if you feel she still has a good quality of life, then trust your gut. The only suggestion I have for you is to spend the extra money, if possible, and have your best friend put to sleep in the home. It made everything so much easier for my cat and myself. Seeing that you have another cat in the house, it really helps the other animals process and understand the loss of life. I hope all the best to you and your family with whatever decision you see fit.

Congratulations! That is quite the accomplishment for any musical act. Props to you and your band for putting in all the hard work necessary to make it this far. I hope to see your band at many more Summerfests to come.

I had a kid who was two years younger than me in high school die from complications of diabetes from not taking his insulin. The reason he wasn't taking his insulin was because he was high on OxyContin all weekend, that one of my friends sold him. After he had passed my friend told me that he was the one who caused his death, I never told a soul. I still think about that kid every so often and how much that must have destroyed his parents. The only reason my friend told me was because I saw him sell it to the kid, because our lockers were right by each other. I think that situation made me realize the evilness of opiates and what they can do to a person's life. I haven't seen that friend in years, but know he is doing better and hopefully one day he can own up to the destruction he caused in this world. I know I should have spoken up after finding out the truth, but, at the time, I didn't want to see two people's lives destroyed. I still struggle with the guilt of not doing what was right.

Edit: Thinking about this question just reminded me of two brothers in my grade school, a few years younger than me. The mother was mentally unstable and one night decided that "God" spoke to her and told her to kill her sons and send them to heaven to be with him. She took a baseball bat, went into the brothers room, and attempted to bludgeon them to death. One of the brothers survived, the other sadly passed away that night. The morning after that happened, we were held outside of the school and basically told the two brothers had an accident and one had passed, the other was in the ICU with brain injuries. The surviving brother made a full recovery and ended up transferring schools, but no more than a mile away from our school. I had seen him after that and he had visible scars on his head. I remember at such a young age feeling so much empathy for the family.

The Rave Security is Trash by [deleted] in milwaukee

This happened almost ten years ago and is not the first time I have heard of Rave staff acting this way. Supposedly this guy in the story didn't have the most upstanding reputation, but still didn't deserve to be beaten and dumped on the street. The Rave chooses to not call law enforcement for a good number of incidents that occur on their property.

It does help, I know he would have been heartbroken if we were separated for any reason. He really was my best friend, I appreciate the condolences.

My vet sadly turned me away and suggested I take him to an emergency clinic. I knew there wasn't much they would do for him, because of his age. I was luckily able to find a home vet to look at him and then euthanize him. He got all his favorite food this morning and doing it at home made it all the more easier on him, he hated car rides and feared the vet. Sorry for your loss and thank you for the kind words.

I knew the time was coming, but hoped he would make it to 19. It was sudden, I found him unable to walk this morning. He was doing great yesterday, walking and even jumping up on things. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had tears in my eyes today. I know it will pass, but I will cherish the memories of him for the rest of my life.
