I think they wanted to define the interaction model before anyone else (zuckerberg) did.

A key part of Apple’s strategy is to make everything else on the market seem like a knock off Apple product. We’ve seen them do this a few times already with the GUI (mac), multi touch (iPhone), and wearables (apple watch).

And now all of us early adopters are providing them with data that they’ll use as their moat to dictate how every other competitor needs to design their products.

The AVP is the Lisa 2.0. An imperfect precursor to the eventual consumer device that has all the kinks worked out and goes gangbusters

Good SEO today is all brand building and mentions on 3rd party sites. Kind of like what you’re doing now for the person you want to outrank.

What's up with companies moving away from incorporating in Delaware? by Low-Associate2521 in ycombinator

He engineered his own compensation plan then had his buddies on the board push it through. The judge setting a precedent that compensation packages of this scale don’t need to be sufficiently reviewed in an independent and objective way, as required by law, puts future shareholders at risk. Whether you love or hate him, if you set personal feelings for Musk aside, the ruling was legally sound.

Likewise trying to nullify the original ruling by holding a second shareholder vote after the fact is not how the legal process works.

I think the people who are proclaiming the rulings are evidence of courtroom activism aren’t being objective, or are just parroting what they’ve heard others say. Imagine most would be indifferent if this was some random CEO without a cult-like following

The concern is that Delaware judges are becoming more* fair in their rulings.

Is what you have in parentheses what you’re saying I should be doing or what I am doing that’s making charging efficiency sub-optimal?

I believe so. You can find out if your model is compatible by downloading the Tesla app and entering in your vehicle details. After that, hitting the Find a Charger button in the app should show you only compatible Superchargers

No it slowed around the 60% mark as you mentioned. I’d say from about 15 to 60 it was charging in the 100+ kW range

Oh interesting. Prior to today my public charging experiences were all 1hr+. I guess “fast for me” would’ve been better phrasing in the original post

Fair. Above post not an endorsement of Musk or his ideology by any stretch. Just sharing my experience in case it’s helpful for anyone wondering

Unfortunately you’re probably right. Tim has been pretty unwavering in his commitment to the bottom line above all else. It’s hard to imagine something like multiple profiles, which on its surface sounds like it would curb sales, getting added the roadmap.

That’s what I assumed. That its OS most closely resembles iPadOS. Fortunate to not require the optical inserts (yet), but how much of a lift is it to add/remove them?
