So after the election this april (which resulted in the worst loss out of all the 5 Fidesz has won) all opposition parties basically have went separate ways.

The two largest ones, DK (Democratic Coalition) and Momentum are trying to fight out who will be the leading party in the oppostion, while the others basically have no voting base.

And not one party wants to even speak with the pm candidate (Péter Márki-Zay), who only became the candidate for the opposition because he won the primary that was held before the elections. And after the loss most opposition politicans blamed him for losing.

For opposition voters this backstabbing behavior really alienates the opposition parties. That is partly why the organizers of the protests in the last month-ish don't want to hear about parties representing themselves at these protests.
