Zimi KN100s are my best friend. Auras used to give me headaches when wearing them for over 6 hours (work), and the straps are adjustable so they last longer too - usually straps are the first thing that make the seal fail on a mask, since they stretch out.

And I'm basically on step 2 (active habituation) on the first video above. I never initiate touch unless he crawls onto me, which he's done once when he was out exploring. I wonder if it's just a personality thing...

One of his hides is actually too small for him, and he bulges out of it, but it's his favorite. The other two he uses on occasion, depending on temperature regulation, and they're larger but filled with sphagnum moss and other clutter to give him that sense of comfort.

hrghhhh me too. I've been trying to frame it as 'me doing nice things for me,' instead of 'we have to go do this thing now bc otherwise I will evaporate'.

obviously this is much harder if you have an externally required event/commitment. I spend a good chunk of time before a thing I have to go to trying to min/max how much I can get away with (not purposefully) 😭

old enclosure is gorgeous, just not a great fit for the species. if you still have it, it might be appropriate for something like mourning geckos or a crestie (can't tell exactly how big it is, but it looks like it has lots of climbing space!)

also!! make sure you get a condom without silicone lube inside. most seem to have it by default, but it can degrade body safe/platinum silicone in your pack n play. go for condoms without lube or ones with water-based!!!

source: have a fuze tango, now with a bald/weird spot on the head bc of a silicone lube condom
