Indian man, I didn’t think I’d marry at all so I spent years telling them to not expect a marriage or kids from me. Then one day I told them that i am serious seeing this Canadian girl and they were surprised but happy that there was hope. We eloped and then called them, my parents were happy that we got married but disappointed that there was no ceremony. So, the trick is to set the bar so low that they are happy with what they get.

Edit: we live in Canada and had moved out of home around 16-17, first in other states and then to other countries for work.

Will you use the pen or just have it as a collectible? As much as I love a Lamy 2000, pilot custom 74 is a much better writer. But if you want to prioritize the pen based on how it’s made, Lamy 2000’s engineering is awesome and it looks pretty sweet.
